Great bag that has served me well over the past year
I've had this bag for just over a year now and I've been pretty pleased with it. Given the price tag, I wanted to make sure it would still hold up after some time before writing a review. It has more than held up and survived multiple cross-country trips. It's a little much for an EDC bag in my opinion, but it works fine for that purpose as well if you're fine with a little added bulk. It more than fits my Nintendo Switch Lite (in a case!) plus some miscellaneous daily items (gum, tissue, charging cords, etc.) in the main pocket. The front pocket fits my epi pens and various OTC meds I carry with me just in case (ibuprofen, benadryl, etc.). This bag won't replace a proper backpack or anything but it's perfect for, say, bringing on a flight or on a road trip. I wish it had some more pockets for organization, but what it has is definitely better than the cheaper sling bags I've gotten which had no pockets at all. It also has a key ring, but I haven't used it. The material is stiff and seems decently water resistant, so I haven't had concerns bringing in on rainy days. I do think it wouldn't hold up well to being soaked, so I've only spot washed it. The zippers and pockets look like they're made out of good material, too. The buckles are interesting but I didn't get much out of them that I feel normal buckles wouldn't also deliver. I've read some reviews about squeakiness but personally haven't experienced that. No tears or rips on or in the bag, and I'm not exactly kind with it. I'm 5'6", on the taller end for a woman, and chunky. I find this bag doesn't look hilariously oversized or undersized on me, and it also fits well and looks good on my much taller, heavier male friends. This might be too heavy/large for smaller (under 5') women in my opinion as the length itself is pretty substantial. My main complaints are that the size/bulk make it difficult to carry daily and that it is quite pricey for a casual sling bag, but given how well it's performed, I find the price worth it personally. I'd love to see these in different colorways but the black is basic and minimalist (and good for hiding dirt ;) as a bonus). If you are looking for a more "daily wear" bag, this is overkill imho unless you want to splurge a bit on quality. PROS + has quite the capacity, fits my Switch Lite and miscellaneous daily items easily + storage compartments + build quality feels very solid, seems like it'll last some more years to come CONS - on the bigger/bulkier/heavier side, even when empty - pricey :(

Amazing Value and Surprisingly Large Inside
I really love the X-Pac sailcloth and this coyote brown color. Sadly, other bag brands charge a very high premium for this fabric and as a user of many camera bags, this X-Pac bag was a steal to me! First of all, this bag is a spacious rectangle that can't really be cinched down and that's fine with me. The side cinches could be utilized to hold table top tripods or perhaps a small umbrella. Use your imagination. I also love that the inside is orange. I really dislike bags that have a dark internal color, which can make it difficult to find little stuff like batteries or pens or dongles or adapters. Initially, I put in a Fuji XH2s with 70-300mm lense and it had inches of room to spare! Then I tried the combination of SteamDeck in a Jsaux case and two 65w battery packs along with a cased iPad Mini which was slid into the internal side pocket with USB-C cords. More accessories can be stored in the outside zippered pockets. So much space! Later, I put in a Kodak camera wrap attached with two Peak Design dividers for added protection and organization. This bag easily fit a Fuji X-T4 with 16mm/f1.4 lense attached and the 18-120mm pz lense on the side. Then I put in Fuji X-E4 with 23mm/f2 lense along with a X100F and there was plenty of room to spare for all sorts of accessories like a rolled up travel jacket or pair of gloves. I love how versatile this bag is and that I can use it like a camera bag one day, a Steamdeck or Switch bag some other day, or anything anytime. The strap is the only thing that is appropriate for this pricepoint, but is not a dealbreaker. This Tomtoc is now my "Goldilocks" bag for daily carry.

Versatile and functional! Almost perfect.
I wanted a sling or crossbody for days when I’m out in the city or at a theme park. Being able to swing the bag in front for easy access to items AND for security was a must. I had a small Herschel crossbody I used while in Asia last year that worked well for small items and it inspired me to look for something in the 5-10 liter range. After some time I decided to give this a bag a try. Pros: 1. It’s very affordable in terms of features. 2. 5.5 liters is a good amount of space to carry your essentials. I could even fit a Hydroflask 32 oz bottle in it! 3. I personally really liked the way the straps are angled, how they swivel to move with your body, and the quick release function. Very handy. 4. The strap is pretty comfortable with a wide pad and is also very versatile due to the loops on it. I like to attach carabiners to hang frequently used items on it. Cons: 1. The only major con I have with this bag is the depth. I would have preferred a slightly shorter bag end to end, and have it taller and deeper to more easily fit a bottle. I know it’s not made with water bottles in mind but it would be a nice to have. I’ve been using this bag regularly for over a year now and the fabric is still almost brand new. I would still recommend this to anyone looking to dive into crossbody bags as a first purchase. I will continue to use this until I find something else that can surpass the functionality of this one (which will be a TALL bar to surpass).

Perfect Blend of Functionality and Style - tomtoc EDC X-Pac Sling Bag
I recently purchased the tomtoc EDC X-Pac Sling Bag 5.5L Crossbody Bag, and it has quickly become my go-to bag for everyday carry. This bag offers an excellent balance of functionality, durability, and style, making it perfect for both casual and professional use. The 5.5L capacity is ideal for carrying my daily essentials. The main compartment is spacious enough to fit my tablet, notebook, wallet, and a small water bottle. There are multiple interior pockets that help keep everything organized, including a padded sleeve for electronic devices and smaller pockets for accessories like pens and chargers. The thoughtful design ensures that I can easily find what I need without rummaging through the entire bag. The build quality is impressive. The X-Pac material is not only lightweight but also extremely durable and water-resistant. It has held up well against daily wear and tear, and I feel confident that my belongings are protected, even in inclement weather. The zippers are smooth and sturdy, adding to the overall reliability of the bag. Comfort is another strong point of the tomtoc Sling Bag. The adjustable strap allows for a customized fit, and the padded back panel provides additional comfort during extended use. Whether I'm wearing it over my shoulder or across my body, the bag sits comfortably and doesn't cause any strain. Aesthetically, the bag is sleek and modern. It has a minimalist design that complements a variety of outfits, making it suitable for both casual outings and more formal settings. The reflective accents are a nice touch, adding a bit of safety for nighttime use. One minor downside is that the front pocket, while convenient for quick access, could be slightly larger. It's a bit tight for bulkier items, but it's perfect for smaller accessories like keys and earphones. Overall, the tomtoc EDC X-Pac Sling Bag 5.5L Crossbody Bag is an outstanding choice for anyone in need of a reliable and stylish everyday carry solution. Its combination of ample storage, durable construction, and comfortable design make it a standout option in the market. I highly recommend this bag for anyone looking to upgrade their EDC setup.

GOOD BAG JUST WISH IT WAS 7L FOR ITS BIG SIZE!
Great sling bag. Has ample space (wish it was a 7L like the AER day sling max 4 ultra) has many good compartments to hold you're daily EDC. Protection is standard nothing extra. The top handle is great to grab and go. The weight is not bad empty. Only flaws it's a fixed shape and I wish the main pocket opened up a bit more. Front pocket I understand it has a hood for the rain but it could've opened up more. The side adjustments to me is pointless because it doesn't tighten the bag since it's a fixed shape, but can be used to hold an umbrella or a slim water bottle. Speaking of water bottles if you have anything over 18oz the bottle will consume the entire bag in the main pocket. Good luck with a owala free sip or Stanley wellspring not going to fit. The straps are good but I wish they had a fixed system to keep the shoulder padding fixed. I do have to adjust the padding daily and it gets annoying. Just wished it was 7 litter capacity would've been ideal for its size already. Overall for the price and to have XPac technology and YKK zips it's good value for a entry level bag for beginners.

Great sling bag for everyone, but especially for big guys.
Big guys looking for a sling bag, this is it. Now that I have reading glasses, a bigger phone, wallet, keys, etc etc, I used to carry them in my pockets and it would be uncomfortable and bulgy. I was searching for a bag, and I went through a few so far: Chrome Mini Kadet, Inatech Sling bag X, and now this. The Chrome was by far the best looking and best build, but it was small for me (still keeping it as a goal to lose weight lol). The Inatech was a bit too small in storage and looked unimpressive in person despite having a good strap length. I took a chance on this Tomtoc 5.5 Sling and it's the best of both. It has the good looks and storage capacity of the Chrome, with an even better strap than the Inatech. The strap ends bend a little near the clip, which helps with body contour. It may be a bit big for the average person for a close sling, but it's perfect for any and all big chunguses out there. The interior is well thought out and spacious, with many pockets to organize (more than the Chrome). The only "negative" i have for now is that there is no key ring, but honestly that's a very very small problem since i'll be detaching them all the time anyway.

Big enough for the essentials
I’ve been using the tomtoc Xpac Sling Bag for a bit now, and it’s quickly become my go-to for daily carry. The design is sleek and modern without being over the top, and the materials feel incredibly durable. It’s lightweight, water-resistant, and doesn’t lose its shape even when packed to capacity. The layout of the compartments is well thought out. I love how I can keep my essentials like my phone, wallet, and keys easily accessible while having a secure spot for things like my tablet or small notebook. The hidden pocket on the back is a nice touch for extra security when commuting. The strap is super comfortable and adjusts easily, whether I’m wearing it crossbody or just slinging it over one shoulder. It sits snugly against the body and doesn’t bounce around, even when walking briskly. Overall, the Xpac Sling Bag is versatile, stylish, and practical. Whether you’re using it for a quick trip to the store, a walk around the city, or as a secondary bag while traveling, it does the job perfectly. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a compact and reliable sling bag!

Yes, it does fit a steam deck with a Killswitch case. Easily
Best thing I got for my steam deck (not counting the dock) plenty of pockets for anything you could need, dock, chargers, phone, ect. Without being bulky and in the way. And if you're wondering, yes it fits a steam deck with a hard cover case like the Killswitch easily and with room to spare. Definitely worth it.

Great for everyday use
An excellent sling bag that I use daily as my everyday carry. The body is made of Ballistic Nylon and has held its shape well since I purchased it. The shoulder strap is padded, detachable, and comfortable for all day use. You can also easily switch sides. The main compartment is wide and deep enough for my daily items; I can easily store my glasses, tote bag, pocket tissues, wallet, wireless headphones, sunglasses, portable fan, a 500ml bottle of water and other bits and bobs with space to spare. The hidden back compartment comes in handy for storing items securely against your body. One feature that I love is the key connector, which is generous enough in length to allow you to open your door without disconnecting it. The bag is advertised as a carry sling for handheld consoles like the Switch 2 and Steam Deck. It can easily hold these devices alongside other essentials, but I use it primarily as an everyday bag and could not be happier with my purchase. If you want a fully waterproof version of this sling, go for the X-Pac version

Lots of space
Gave up my jsaux soft shaped case for this. Using my jasaux har cover over the steam deck and got plenty of room for any powerbank. Handy bag for all appliances.

super mega awesome
This sling bag was a real game changer for my EDC collection. Absolutely amazing! The quality is excellent, the materials feel premium, and the design is both practical and stylish. It easily fits all my everyday carry gear — handhelds, accessories, and other gadgets — with plenty of protection thanks to the padding. It’s also waterproof and extremely comfortable to use. On top of that, it just looks fantastic. Tomtoc, as usual, delivers outstanding quality. Highly recommended!

Total y absolutamente recomendable.
