Indescribable

I am so pleased with this book - it's beautifully written and my son (7 years old) loves being read it (he keeps asking for it) and reading it himself. He is around an aged 9 reader and finding it achievable to read alone. He is just starting to develop his own personal faith and this book is perfect for him right now. We have a lot of bibles and devotionals, so I was a little concerned this would just be a repeat of previous purchases but it's not. Every thought is written with great heart and sound theology and they are very purposeful, thoughtful and meaningful without being wishy-washy or samey. The style of writing reminds me a lot of the Jesus Story Book Bible. As evangelical Anglican Christians we are pleased with this book for our children. I will be buying it as a gift for other kids in the aged 7-10 bracket. Highly reccomended.

All three of our grandchildren aged 6, 8 and 10 just love this book. Each chapter combines biblical stories and events related/ connected to interesting fascinating Scientific facts which stimulates discussion and reflection. Schools should look at using this book in RE lessons. Children will be eager to participate and never be bored! A refreshing, challenging and exciting way of delivering the bible.

This book was recommended to us. We're church leaders, parents of 5 kids and we've sometimes found it hard keeping that routine with our children (praying, reading the bible). We started this book at christmas with our 8 1/2 yr old. He is fascinated by the facts and science and how it all fits in with God and who He is. It is a beautiful thing watching your child interact with God and seeing their faith grow. Louie has got this right. Just coming to the end now and have purchased HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD.

I absolutely love this devotional! I bought to read with my 4 and 10 year olds and not only are they loving but so are my husband and I. I cant recommend it highly enough! I love the fascinating amd eye opening facts that are shared each day that expand with the bible verses to have a greater understanding of our creator God. It has been so good i took this book in to work to share with my work colleagues during office prayers! I would say this would be extremely suitable for both boys and girls from 3 to 14 and even adults lol! Beautifully illustrated also. Buy this book!

Good book with fantastic facts. Dont know who enjoys it more, us or the kids. The girls love it and sometimes carry on reading it without us. Its great to have a scientific fact there and the parallels to faith. One supporting the other, rather than trying to diminish it

Wonderful devotions that really grip my 5 year old son's attention. So interesting, even for my husband and I! So nice to teach Godly principles and tie them into science and creation!

I was recommended this book for my science obsessed son who is ASD and extremely anxious, to help him feel reassured with gods presence, power and love. He has never engaged with another book like this one. He loves the scientific information and facts backed up with scripture and prayer. The chapters are a perfect length and have just the right amount of information in them to Encourage discussion and exploration. I can highly recommend this to any child and parent to read together

From Earth to space, animals, and our bodies, this is an awesome introduction into the world that God has created. Each devotional begins with a bible verse and discusses a scientific topic associated with it, then connects it to God. They also share a “Be Amazed” fact and close in prayer. We love this book. This was my children’s first devotional and we used it at the beginning of each homeschooling day. I got one for each of them and they would swap days choosing a devotional and marking it off in the Table of Contents since they didn’t go in order, which isn't necessary. My children took turns reading and were fascinated by what they read, excitedly sharing new things they had learned with me. The material overall could be read by my children, they were 7 and 10 when we did most of this, with only the occasional mispronunciation. The devotional doesn’t get too deep into the scientific subjects, but you can always find other books to delve deeper when your child’s curiosity is piqued, and they start asking questions. Though the material wasn’t too difficult to read and some facts my children already knew, from watching Wild Kratts or reading other science books, the biblical aspect was deeper and sometimes they didn’t fully understand it which provided opportunities for discussion when they had questions. We enjoyed this book so much we have already bought the next book, How Great is Our God: 100 Indescribable Devotions About God and Science and got a copy as well for our niece and nephews this past Christmas. One nephew even sat still long enough for me to read a devotional and asked me to read another one to him. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a great starter devotional for their children and this will forever be in my library.

This book arrived today and we love it already! We read the first Devotional msg today, and my kids enjoyed it thoroughly. We even did some extended activity after it. The size, paper quality, book weight, illustrations, content, etc are on point. We are a homeschooling family, and this book will be very useful to learn Science. Kids are 5.5y and 4y, they need to be read to. Worthy buy for sure. 🙂

Good quality hardcover book. Simple English for kids to understand, short and straight to the point readings for each day, covers faith and science.

My kid loves the devotions. Each devotion has a healthy mixture of science and Jesus which are 2 of my kiddos favourite. The devotions bring great conversations and questions from my child all while filling her curiosity with the "be amazed' section, we're usually all amazed from facts that we didn't know. Its a great tool for homeschool as well, through the devotions ill sometimes do activities related to the devotion to help as well. Definitely recommend
