Not as diffused as in the pictures
The kit came complete with everything needed to put it into service. It did not come with instructions but, then again, none are really needed.Something that impressed me right away was how flexible this light strip is. Not only is it flexible on the Y axis, which is to be expected since it comes in a roll, but I found it to be flexible enough on the X axis to follow slight curves. Then on the Z axis to be able to twist the strip in order to accommodate transitions on adjacent perpendicular surfaces but this is a little more difficult. Flexibility has been an issue on some of my previous LED strip projects so this was a nice change of pace. They say that the strip is cuttable but I don’t see a good way to reattach the cut portion so I would not want to do that to my strip. One thing that bummed me out a little was the fact that the individual LEDs are still very slightly discernible at all brightness levels. That might be a little bit strong. What I mean is that while you were looking at the light strip, you can see a very slight sort of zebra effect which is a little brighter at each LED light source but dimmer in between. It is not super obvious and even less so at a distance. The strip actually does a pretty good job at diffusion but definitely not as good as in the photos on the listing. I still like it.One thing that I did not realize about this strip is the fact that light only emits from the two narrow sides of the strip. The wider surfaces are covered. This is definitely something to be aware of when ordering so you can use this to your advantage in your project. I did not play close enough attention to that fact, but it is not a big deal because all I did was change how I planned to use the strip. I was originally intending to run the strip around the top edge of a room near the roof-line, but instead switched my focus to our bookcases instead. The plastic mounting brackets grip the strip securely but the screws that were included for mounting those brackets are kind of small with shallow threads. If you were planning to mount the strip to anything but hardwood or other dense material then you will need to plan on using other screws in conjunction with wall anchors or strong, double-sided tape. The in-line dimmer switch as well designed. I like the fact that it is essentially optional. The lead from the power adapter plugs into one end and the power strip into the other. This means that the power strip can be plugged directly into the AC wall adapter, bypassing the switch entirely, which widens your options in my opinion. The switch itself is offset in the housing with a knurled surface sticking out slightly, where you can run your thumb across to turn it up and down. It is clearly labeled on the surface to indicate the brightness setting. When you first turn it on, it almost seems like you haven’t, but on closer inspection you can see that it’s just at its lowest dimness setting. This actually really impressed me because the sensitivity of the potentiometer for the dimness is a lot more precise than I expected. In order to get this precision, you need a super light touch on the control, but you can really dial in extremely dim to extremely bright illumination right where you want it.Speaking of brightness, this strip does throw out a lot of illumination when it’s turned all the way up. This can easily be used for navigation purposes on a stairway or entryway. As a matter of fact, I think that another ideal used case for the strip would be in door frames, producing good illumination and giving doorways a cool, futuristic sci-fi look.

Great lighting under carport
We live in a rural area and sometimes things are pretty dark outside. I thought I would give this strip of LED lighting a try. We have a pretty big heavy duty metal carport so I hung this strip of lights under the carport. It is very flexible and easy to run on curves. The lights are very pretty at night. There were no instructions included so I do not know how you would actually cut this to make it work what it said on the site. It still worked great for my purpose. Easy to setup and really just like how it looks.

Green tint LEDs compared to my rosey warm white LED cafe lights
Pros: Arrived super fast. Everything works great and materials/assembly is good too. Super flexible and think it will do well outdoors with it fully sealed like it is.The brightness is not overwhelming, so perfect for relaxed setting. Cons: No instructions provided so if you were looking to extend this or try to cut it down to custom size, you're on your own. The dimmer and power supply are black, not white like advertised pic which is an issue with my application (mount on white pergola). The rope is 4 sided and rectangular in shape with only 1 side emitting light and surprisingly it is the narrow side that has light not the wider side. The little plastic brackets don't look like they will hold up well in outdoors, cheap plastic, and because of the light orientation the rope looked like it's sitting high, on end, instead of flat so not as low profile as expected. But the biggest issue for me is the color, as the light looks green compared with the rosy warm white LED cafe lights they are next to.

Great for outdoor installation
Very cute silicone neon light strip, perfect for outdoor installation to highlight home lines. It's made well with quality led light stip and silicon casing. It's does the job well and doesn't cost much at all. Installation is simple unless you attach it to stucco.

Nice quality light
This spool gives a nice quality of light, I only wish there were more than 10 clips included for 32'.... as there's no adhesive on the backing. A good enough length at 32' for a full project, however trying to pull them so tight that they don't sag between clips is a challenge at least for me. The quality of light however is very nice and warm.

Product doesn’t match product images
The cord and power switch are white on the product photos but are actually black. I wouldn’t have purchased this if I knew they were black. Waste of time.
