Bought a set of these at FYE for 15 bucks, they were kinda crap but worked okay for about 2 weeks, then they took a tumble off a 3 foot high desk on to high pile carpet, both speaker cans fell off and the battery proceed to dead short and ignited itself. Nice craftsmanship, NSP. Autopsy shows that live and ground of the battery is insulated from each other by nothing more than some low quality tape, and joins with very thin, low grade coated wiring typically reserved for speakers in cheap headphones... Seriously, don't buy these things, at least they decided to let the smoke out on my floor, and NOT on my head.
