Immersive, Gritty, and Unforgettable!
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is an absolute masterpiece. As a casual gamer, I found myself completely immersed, clocking around 150 hours to finish all the main and side quests. The game’s dedication to realism is unlike anything I’ve played before—whether it’s the combat, dialogue, or world-building, everything feels grounded and intentional. What really stood out to me was how that realism extended beyond just combat or visuals—it captured the real struggles people faced during that time period. Whether it was being sent to the pillory for a crime or starving due to a lack of food, the game doesn’t hold back. Without going into spoilers, it truly makes you feel like you’re living in that world.Combat can feel clunky and frustrating at times, but it’s refreshingly different from the usual hack-and-slash. Every fight demands strategy and patience, forcing you to think tactically rather than button-mash your way through. That level of depth is rare and rewarding. There’s a staggering amount of content to explore, and it took me a while to fully grasp just how real and layered this game is. While bugs do pop up and can be frustrating, they don’t ruin the experience. If you’re looking for a medieval RPG that values immersion and authenticity over flash, KCD2 is a must-play.

Enjoying this game.
Bandits killed me twice the beginning of the game. That wasn't a problem any longer after I got better equipment. Mutt is a great helper but he needs his rest. I do wish equipment would last longer without needing repairs. There are so many things I could say about KCD2 but don't want to spoil it.

This game won me over!!
When I started this game I was frustrated especially with the combat system, u will need a lot of patience with the combat system and even the menu. After a while I was just grabbed by the story! U will learn as u go, maybe some YouTube how to’s along the way. But this game continues to win me over on the details like eating and sleeping because everything matters in the game. I say give it a chance and be patient!

Genuinely a work of art.
Compared to the recycled slop that is the mainstream AAA games put out by the big studios these days, this really stands out. Highly recommend KCD2.

One of the worst games I've ever played.
One of the most ridiculous games I have ever played. The first 6 hours or so of my play time were mostly filled with passively watching cutscenes, with an occasional entry of a dialog choice by me. The "tasks" in this time consisted of finding a path in the dark, lugging sacks of flour from a wagon to a pantry, and avoiding any physical conflicts. The avoidance of conflicts is necessary because the tutorial descriptions of blocking and hitting back make no sense at all; additionally my character has so little stamima that he can barely manage 2 blows that have little effect, but gets killed by two blows from an adversary. The story is ultra boring-- I fell asleep several times while playing, and baked a loaf of bread while awake as the cutscenes went on and on. If you are having trouble getting to sleep, this is the game for you.

Promising, but ultimately Tedious
The scenery is nice, and the combat is as always first-rate, but too much of the game is endless cut-scenes and forced fights or stealth runs that you have to complete in order to advance to yet more cut scenes and forced actions.Replay-ability is zero, because you can't leave the starting region without progressing in the main quest, which includes such RPG gems as 'get a good night's sleep'.The story is complex, but since you have little or no emotional investment in the politics, its wasted. I literally ended all cut scenes, hopping forward until the next unavoidable duel, sneaking job, or leisurely defense of a stronghold was forced upon me. Gathering loot is fairly pointless while doing the main questline, as is improving your horse and dog, since they do not factor in the main question. All in al, you will spend a lot more time looking for walkthrough on Reddit or Youtube than playing, because there's only one way to solve main quest events.
