MF-11W Extra Large Button Phone for Elderly Senior Amplified Corded Phone with Loud Handsfree Speakerphone Perfect for Hearing Impaired

This is a VERY simple phone, so don't expect a lot. But at the price, it does what you want it to. Large buttons and a fairly loud handset (not deafening but better than a typical cell phone) make this ideal for someone who is either hard of hearing, having trouble with new devices, or is just confused with the new vs. old thing. My mother-in-law is 89 and as with my own mother, getting the cell phone in the right place over her ear proved a bit too much (and caused us to have to speak louder and louder, to no avail). This phone brought her back to something she was quite familiar with...a landline hook up, a cradle handset, and little else. No speed dial, no memory, no last call directory (it has those but they're confusing to set up and even more confusing for her to use). Hooking it up was just a matter of plugging it in, hook up the line, and done. The cord is just about right (no possibility of tripping over a long line) and the buttons are easy to push. Not sure how long this will last since it's rather cheap plastic, but hey, the price reflects that and who cares...it works. Quit struggling or yelling into your loved ones' current phone...just get this at a bargain price.

Phone was as described. arrived quickly. Large buttons are easy for her to see and the amplified sound is perfect. Clarity is good. Speaker works great for her phone-in Bingo games!

I stored my brother's phone number on this phone, and when I need to call him, I just press the AUTO button and the number location. This is a friendly function. The volume is good for me. A nice amplified phone with reasonable price.

Having been advertised as effective for the hard of hearing, I thought this would be a good phone for regular conference calls. However, the volume over the speaker was extremely low, despite moving the switch from low to high. The person on the other end of the call could not hear me at all when in speaker mode.A very disappointing product.Good news, however, the company was very prompt in offering a replacement or a refund, and did not require the hassle of returning the phone (which I will be putting in the trash). A refund was provided in short order.

The phone works well with the handset. Its pretty loud and clear. But I found the speaker function was not loud enough for my needs.

Bought this for my Aunt who is 101 ! She’s in assisted living & had difficulty with smaller buttons on a wireless phone . This works perfectlyWish it had an extension.

The phone is suitable for my mother. I mounted the phone on the wall for her, the handset can stay on the phone. The sound is clear and loud for her, and the speed dial is helpful. Happy purchase. Thank you!
