Pretty good figure for the price

Ambush Bug!
I was slightly disappointed to find that his costume is lacking in texture - don't expect the version of AB with visible circuitry, or a wrinkly suit. That said, he's a wonderful shade of green, and his face sculpt and antennae are amazing, and Cheeks the Toy Wonder is marvelously detailed, and AB can keep a firm grip on him no matter how they're posed. Any Ambush Bug fan will be pleased.

An overlooked hero gets to shine
I have loved Ambush Bug since his first comic appearance, and I have truly enjoyed many of the McFarlane DC figures. But never would I have believed that I would one day hold in my hand a McFarlane figure of Ambush Bug. It looks great. Now if they could make a Kamandi, Ben Boxer and Doctor Canus 3 pack I would swear that I had died and went to heaven.

Weirdest experience. Wtf. Figure is fine. Packing anomoly was not.
So I got my figures today and the figures themselves are fine but the boxes were coated in a gross oil. It was nasty. I ordered 2 figures and they arrived in a clean, undamaged box with some wrap. I took the wrap out and picked up the boxes and then yelled ๐ because I stuck my hand right in a bunch of slimy oil that was in between the 2 figures. Figure: arms, nice. Legs, fine. Feet, could do with better ankles but still good. Head... for a figure with no hair, he has surprisingly little range of motion. Accessories: extra hand and Cheeks the Toy Wonder. Cheeks has no articulation but that's fine. Never thought I'd get an Ambush Bug figure let alone a Cheeks. Cool figure.

World's wackiest super hero in plastic form
Growing up, I loved Ambush Bug. He's one of those weird, lesser known comic book characters. This figure is a great portrayal, even including his sidekick, Cheeks The Toy Wonder. We'll worth the price.

The actual figure is amazing! The addition of the toy wonder is great. My only disappointment is that in an age, where every figure you receive has three sets of hands and three heads and multiple accessories, ambush bug deserved a few other items: Hawaiian shirt, at least one alternate head, A newspaper, some floppy shorts, a superman cape made out of a doormat, I mean this character lens itself so well for funny accessories. Otherwise fantastic.
