Well made!
I like that this carries more water than other water bladders. I also like the mouth piece, it is easy to drink from and has a lid that is attached and easy to put over it. It comes with a magnet piece that you can put on your bag that the straw attaches to which is also really nice.

No bad taste to the water.
I've used this on a couple of short hikes and it has worked out well. I was unfamiliar with this brand, but I wanted something a bit bigger than the Camelbak 2.5 liter model that I already have. There are mostly similarities between the two brands, but there are a couple of differences I have noticed. The Trailflow has a bit longer tube (about 1.5 inches) so it is a bit more unwieldy trying to secure it to your shoulder strap. It does come with a neat magnetic attachment that attaches to a spot on the tube to secure it. I had to put the magnet very low on the pack shoulder strap to get the tube to follow the strap and not be flapping and getting caught on things. I may shorten the tube to help this if it's still an issue. The other difference I saw was the Trailflow has a plastic center post in the bite valve. Not sure why, but it isn't bad, just different. It also has a cover for the valve that is attached by a plastic lanyard that will probably break off pretty quickly.I've heard stories of the bladders and hoses from either brand giving a bad taste to the water, but I did't have that issue. I followed the directions for the Trailflow and cleaned it with dish soap. After rinsing, there was no taste problem. The bladder has a divider to help with sloshing. After using both brands, I think either would serve you well. Just get the size you think you need for your excursions.
