It is a very interesting read but the theory behind the dating of the structures seems a bit questionable. There needs to be a more scientific investigation, which the authors do call for.

Read this book in 2 hours, it has very little to offer really. Seem like it was published in a rush so as to get some cash together to fund the next book or next lot of reasearch. I know that's how things are done these days but maybe best to save your money and buy book 2 instead?

Lots of photographs of the stones. These have been discovered relatively recently in S.Africa and there is still much more to be discovered or uncovered. Beginning of humanity here - and very very old dates. Older than the stones in Normandy and U.K.? Some intruiging thoughts too about the sound created and how it might have been used. Hope to read much more about future developments there.

I was very moved when I heard this guy speak about what he had found and the ramifications for South African history and just wanted a mainly image based record of the discovery - for more meat on the bone his longer books are also very interesting but for a way of soaking up these incredible arial views of the megalithic structures this book is perfect.
