Matron at Last Paperback – 19 July 2012

Absolutely love reading Evelyn's books, no sooner do I finish one, then I download the next.I often find myself locked in the story & feel that I'm getting to know all the character s personally.Only the last of her books to read now, so will have to find yet another author to get to know.Hope you all enjoy reading these books as much as I have.

Couldn't put it down until i 'd finished reading it, really enjoyed it, took me back to the time I was a nurse.

Really good story, easy to follow, holds your interest,- of her different situations of nursing career

A good entertaing read. Bought it because my own career took the same course. Anyone who has been in the Nursing/Caring profession would enjoy this book.

I really enjoyed this book it reminded me of my Tim's as a nurse many years ago, I also had.a quiet giggle at some of the antics the lovely ladies got up to can't wait to read more Evelyn Prentis books

This book is absolutely fantastic, it shows life like it was, in some ways it's a shame that life isn't like it today, people living close together getting on helping each other in difficult times. It is very well written and very funny, a very good read

A great read, follows on from earlier books. Anyone who likes 'call the midwife' should visit this series of books.
