J. Adams Alexa Comfortable Wedge – Cross Band Adjustable Strap Slingback Sandal

This is the first day I wore these and they are so comfortable and fit perfect. love them. However the side strap on both sandals is coming apart!! I’m devastated that I have only worn these for a day and have only been at work at my desk! There was no running around in them, just normal. I want to get a new pair but is this just a defective pair or is this something anybody else has any issues with also? Help!

Like some other reviewers wrote, the back velcro piece is not in the right place. No matter high tight you try to make it, it's still loose and makes walking difficult, though it probably would fit perfectly if I was wearing socks. But I'm not a socks with sandals kind of person - lol! . Looks like the velcro piece needs to be moved approx. 1" back. I like the looks of the shoe - so I might attempt to make the adjustment myself, though it would require removing one side of the velcro and sewing it back on in a different location. Also - these are not 2.5" high - they are over 3". For reference, I wear a size 9, normal width. Maybe try a size down - though the length is perfect.

Omg these would be my absolute favorite shoes ever if they didn’t have one deal breaker design flaw. The heel strap is way too big, and because of the way they sewed the tiny price of Velcro on, there is no way to tighten it to fit properly. You can see in my photo how huge the gap on the heel is when fastened as is. Such a huge disappointment. If you’re willing to rip the Velcro off and sew a new piece on they will be awesome. Super soft cushy sole and nice smooth straps.

I got these today and wore them around the house for couple hours. Seems fairly comfortable. My only issue is that these are a bit wide for my average foot. The back heel strap is to long. I’ve tightened it up as much as I can but it’s still too big. Thought about returning them and getting 1/2 size smaller but pamphlet inside box says returns are subject to 50% restocking fee. That sucks! Guess I’ll keep them and try to find a stick on cushion to tighten up the heel space to make the fit a little tighter.

I love these shoes. I've been wearing them for almost a year and they've been very comfortable the whole time and never had any issues. Some people here say the back strap is too loose. For me, that is a plus. Most backstraps don't fit my feet well and rub blisters. These do not. That is major plus since I often have to buy slip-ons due to problems with backstraps.

The softest and most comfortable footbed I've ever seen in a wedge! Great cushioning and support too. The bands are also comfortable and feel secure against my ankles. I typically wear a 6.5 Wide and the 6.5 fit me perfectly!

These sandals are super comfortable. I wore them for about eleven standing/walking hours straight, and my feet felt great. I wear size 7 1/2 or 8 and bought the 8, the 7 1/2 would have been fine (don’t size up). If you have narrow feet, these aren’t for you.

I got these to wear because I have such chunky legs and I thought they would look bey in the summer time with a little lift. These shoes are surprisingly comfortable so I wear them often. I got half a size up and they fit perfectly so maybe be prepared for a tight fit or go up a size.
