I really thought this kit was nice for the amount of money that I spent on it. I was able to get a nice clean, leak free installation. One thing to realize is that most of the fittings will rotate so you can set up the gauges so that they are both upright as viewed from the front of the tanks. I used a little bit of blue thread, locking compound to set the mounting screws. I leak tested it afterwards with soapy water, and there were no leaks. My preference for stainless steel braided this time came from squirrel activity, where they literally chewed through the rubber hoses on the old kit. It had everything I needed plus a fitting that I didn’t end up using.

The 48" hose that connects the regulator to the main gas line of my camper is 1/2" flare. My camper has a 5/8" flare connection. No adaptors were included with the kit. I needed to go to the hardware store to pick up a brass adaptor. Also, no nuts or lock washers were included to connect the mounting bracket to the main threaded support shaft. Lastly (and worse of all), there is a leak between the compression sleave of the stainless-steel hose and the 1/4" brass fitting. This is a manufacturing defect that should have been caught at the factory. The item number is YG001. I would appreciate a replacement.

Gets the job done, but main hose was a bit short, so I had to get another longer hose.

The regulator seems to be working fine. The pigtails were a bit of a hassle as they are in fact longer than the sales info stated. We finally turned the tanks sideways, back to back, to accommodate the extra length. So far, so good.

Way better than last set I bought, so far so good, but for sure better quality and worth the extra little bit of cost
