This book is a companion to Uncle Andy's: a Fabulous Visit With Uncle Andy. I use both of these books in my artist unit for second-grade students. The text and pictures engage my students while creating an avid interest in learning more about Andy Warhol and his art. It also shows a side of Andy Warhol most people were not aware as told through the eyes of his young nephew, James Warhola. Even if your child isn't learning about artists, this book is charming and appealing.

An absolutely wonderful book for all ages
An absolutely wonderful book for all ages. I'm a cat fancier, have an interest in Andy Warhol, and love a nice light read to banish adult worries. This one did it, with its great humor (Note the Warhol-wig wearing cats on the cover.) and meticulous illustration. If you want a funny look into the everyday life of Andy Warhol, this is it. James Warhola is a first-class story teller, illustrator, and (as I can say after meeting him in person) a fantastic human being. What makes this *so* much better than most kids' books is that it is (with only a few minor modifications to make it age appropriate) absolutely true.

Great book
I love this book! I have his other book about his uncle Andy too, and they are both wonderful. I read them to my art classes and the kids just love them.

Students Give It Two Thumbs Up!
My students loved this book. It gives a glimpse into Andy Warhol's family and life. What feels so wonderful is that he is not that different than you or I! My students loved searching for the cats in the illustrations, which were wonderful. Thank you James Warhola. I loved it!

Premium book for kids
I love this book and so does every kid in my family. It really takes a persona...Andy Warhol and makes him a real person, that ecentric uncle you've always wanted to have. The fact that it is by his nephew James Warhola makes it even richer. I have purchased at least a dozen of these books for my family and for freidns. This along with Visiting Uncle Andy is richer than rich. And if your child is even younger, you should try Warhola's If Your Happy and You Know It. I just wish he would write more!
