Good luck. Godspeed. Consider vodka.
I have 3 windows to do. I’ve done 2 now. I have done this kind of film before, but it was in a very large single panel window. That was challenging because I did it by myself. 4 hands and 4 arms would have been a tremendous asset. However, this time around I have windows with 12 - 9x14 panes. Cutting each one was a total PITA. The slippery curled plastic is a serious challenge. I tried several different things including making a template, saying an incantation, supplication and prayer… By the time I got to the second window, I figured it out!! (See picture.) I used a table I decided I didn’t mind cutting up, but you could also use a large cutting mat. I used masking tape to cut the long dimension, cut it, and then marked off 9.25” creating a straight cutting line with the tape, taping it to the table. I then used a metal ruler and xacto knife to cut them. (Figures the sheet would be a half inch too small to do 4 but oh well.)I still couldn’t cut them straight but that’s probably on me, not the product! The 2nd window looks much better.Totally worth it as it’s virtually impossible to keep the fierce sun from making the room unbearable until we can afford to replace the windows.Good luck. Godspeed. Consider vodka.

Dramatically reduces the heat coming in my office
I wasn't sure what to expect from this because of reading mixed reviews. The film needed to be placed on hard to reach windows, about ten feet above the floor. This required me to stand on a ladder while applying. While application was hard for me, it wasn't because of the film - it was because I was standing on a ladder ten feet above the ground. I followed the directions, wet both the windows and the film and adhesion was relatively easy. The hard part, for me, was trimming it (again, the ladder). I realized after the first window that I could slide two sides into the correct position and only have to trim two sides (instead of trimming all four sides), which made things a lot easier. I imagine if I had installed these on lower windows and had an additional person, it would have been a lot easier. That being said, it wasn't that hard even with the difficult location of the windows. The amount of heat this film stops from entering my office is mind blowing. I expected it to be a bit cooler in here but it is A LOT cooler. It makes the difference between not being able to spend time in my office in the afternoons to being able to enjoy the temperature all day. It makes a huge difference and if I had to do it again, I would.

Takes Some Practice
Seemed to help with summer heat coming through our storm door and windows and keeps neighbors from seeing into our place. Practice helps to get better at installing a little frustrating at the beginning and you will need some extra tools to install like a straight edge and really sharp razor or blade would also help to watch a few You Tube videos on this.

Must be the user
Try as I might, I couldn’t get all of the bubbles out without scratching the film. The static part of the film after pulling the backing off, attracted dust partials from somewhere. It doesn’t look like a mirror.

Happily bought this twice!
These have helped immensely to keep the brutal Texas heat out of my house. Be sure to have a nice flat space to cut it, a yardstick/tape measure, an extra person, etc. Otherwise cutting it accurately while it's trying to roll back up is tough. I have no bubbles in mine, but my cuts are awful. Thankfully it still works.

Get the bigger roll, wish I had. Great product!
I've been waiting on my husband to install but got tired of waiting. 🤣 So I installed it, easiest thing ever. Trick is to keep it soaked, atleast worked for me. 😁 But sadly I underestimated how much I needed. 😔 Get the big roll it's worth it!

Easier to install than anticipated
My main goal was to install these window films to block the heat. The installation was much easier than I thought. Just make sure to use a sharp utility knife to cut away the edges.I bought at Home Depot for $10 the Gila Window Film Application Kit which was helpful. Not sure yet if the window films do actually reduce the heat in my rooms very much but they seem to help at least somewhat. The added privacy during daytime was an extra bonus. Overall, I am very happy with this product.

Great product
It's cooled our house down tremendously! I love the mirror finish which provides privacy from the outside, but you can still see out just fine. I bought a second roll to complete all the windows in my house!

Its in the garbage where it belongs
I am shocked that some people thought this product was good, it was so badly dimpled and scratched that I thought I was looking at a sacrificial layer used for protection during the install, it wasn't, after messing with it for half an hour convinced that there's no way the final product could look this bad I threw the whole lot in the garbage where it belongs.

Funciona
Pensé que sería más grueso el material para aderirlo a la ventana y no lo fue, pero funciona

Does not adhere well
Because the product some in a roll, the material curls up in all the corners. I had to duct tape all the areas where it meets the window frames. If it cam in sheets, rather than in a roll, that might eliminate the curling.
