Just the best!
While it may not be the same as the sauce I grew up with, I think it's much better than the new Huy Fong recipe. This sauce's texture, consistency, heat and flavor are all top tier. The balance between spicy and savory is perfect. I would definitely recommend this sauce over the new Huy Fong sriracha sauce.

Delicious, high-quality taste.
Finally got around to tasting this after using up my OG Sriracha stash. I really like it, has a nice little kick to it from the peppers and vinegar, and has a hint of the nostalgic flavor I remember from the Sriracha bottles our then-local Chinese restaurant had in the late 90s/early 00s. I hadn't tasted it in so long, but I always remembered it. It was perfect. This is a keeper and even though it's a tad pricey, it will be a recurring condiment in my household.

Tastes like I remember but better.
It's not sugar sauce like the chicken brand. It's hot, a little salty sweet, and very good. Well worth the price and great for anyone who wants the older taste we grew up with. Versatile for just about anything you want to add a little heat and a burst of flavor to.

Great sauce with the heat you remember.
When the whole Huy Fong pepper debacle happened it wasn't just the sriracha that suffered, apparently. I recently purchased a bottle of the HF chili garlic sauce, but something seemed off. It had kind of a chemical smell and bland taste. On a whim I ordered this chili garlic sauce from Underwood Ranches to see if it was any better, since they supplied the peppers for a long time. Once it arrived I opened it and took a whiff. It smelled so fresh, and the taste was great with a good amount of heat that was lacking in the HF version. Yes, this sauce is not cheap, but for me there are some things where you need to overlook that and get the good stuff anyway. This is one of those items.

A Hot Sauce
I don't claim to be someone with a super taster or remember exactly the flavor profile of a similar sauce that once hit the market and was ubiquitous, but the peppers are the star and have a consistency which is unmatched by any out there on the market. I enjoy the flavor, and while a tad bit more vinegar than another kind of today it is the standard in my mind. I like the familiar pepper taste, the heat (which by today's market is mild but still hot to many) and the flavor overall. I very much enjoy pairing this with many foods, from traditional fair to ethnic. I will support Underwood Farms and their collection of hot pepper sauces.

If you expect comparability to the famous brand, no.
This brand is high quality and stands on its own unique flavor profile. Not as sweet or garlicky, or as hot as the famous brand. But the famous brand isn't what it once was either.

Didn't want to love this as much as I do...
If you're not aware of the family feud that's swirling around the "original Sriracha", grab some popcorn and a beverage of your choice, and look it up... it's a wild ride! After searching out the "original with the green cap" version of this product, I was noticing - it's not what it used to be... the heat was missing, and it didn't taste as good... I was aware there was a shortage - hence the absurd prices - but I didn't know the rest of the story... (again - look it up... it's crazy).Once I knew the story - I decided to search out "the other Sriracha"... and I was able to find this Underwood Farms version. Now - I've heard some people say "this isn't as good as the original"... but - the fact is - the "original" isn't as good as the original anymore... so while these two families are feuding, we either have to go without (NNNOOOOO!!!!), or we have to choose a side. UGH!Well... after tasting this... I'm walking across the pepper field and choosing Underwood. Simple as that. This sauce brings the flavor, it brings the heat... and - to the best of my recollection - it's basically the same as the old glorious original used to be... (my personal opinion based on having to remember the original sauce)And what's more - this sauce is FAR superior to any of the other "pretenders to the throne". So all I can say here is: Hello new favorite! I'm glad I found you!!... final note - DEFINITELY get the two-bottle pack... you'll want it... for CERTAIN!!

Spicy and Delicious!
My husband has been on a hot sauce kick lately, and his old standby sriracha was getting hard to find. When we found Underwood Ranches Sriracha online and saw that they had two other pepper sauces, we figured that we might as well get the bundle and try them all.* The Sriracha is the mildest of the three (and that's not to say that it's mild!) and is a smooth, easy to pour sauce. It's got a good flavor and level of heat; it's hotter than the last bottle of Huy Fong we got.* The Chili-Garlic is the next hottest and is a thicker consistency with some pepper seeds in it. It has a nice garlicky flavor, and packs a fair amount of heat.* The Sambal is HOT. Not the hottest hot sauce my husband has tried, but it's outside my preferred level of heat. It's a squeezable Thai chili paste, and a little goes a long way. It's definitely comparable to the Huy Fong Sambal
