Great product
Great for indoor plants. Holds water longer and the cost is right

My plants and cuttings love it, so I love it. Making more roots than I can keep up with.
I bought and tried a few other coconut coirs in the past, specifically the 10 lb block from Plantonix. Comparing the two, this one has a lot more stringy fibers with the fiber grounds, promoting more aeration, but coconut coir itself is very aerated substrate, being like courser ground coffee, while also soaking up water like a sponge. This brand though I noticed more debris mixed in, possibly twist ties or some other kind of white plastic stringy bits. It's cleaner than dirt and I can handle this without getting mucky. I used this in place of my past job of mixing up lava rock, course sand, and tree bark which I now use for smaller decorative pots. For my cuttings such as portulacarias, kalanchoe succulents and euphorbia cactuses roots appear in a matter of days than weeks, and with my mahogany saplings they can have a small root ball in about a week. For fertilizers I use Jack's liquid fertilizer. I fell tien release capsules leaves refuse behind and the capsules don't totally dissolve. Bonsai time release capsules might work. The raised garden bed pictured are the VINGLI Square Raised Garden Bed set of 6.

Exactly as described minus the pretty packaging.
Exactly as described minus the pretty packaging. Well that about says it. It is decent coco coir in texture with little peat and has low initial EC, so it is easy to work with. Honestly only gave it 4/5, instead of 5/5 was simply due to their AD not representing what you actually receive which is coco blocks wrapped in black plastic bags and stuffed in a box. Honestly, I don't care much what it looks like. Much of my stuff comes from the farm supply in bulk and some is even loaded with a shovel. I would have preferred an honest representation as I do in everything.Edit - I will add for my uses I hydrate, rinse over a very fine mesh, and then double buffer it with cal-mag. Take that into account our mileage may vary

Excellent product
I was surprised when the large order I made did not have the blocks packed individually, but then I got over myself when I considered that less plastic covering was better for the environment. As for the blocks themselves, I'm very pleased. I like the product and will order again.

My go to
Part of my seedling starting and raise garden mix. I just put the whole block in my wheel barrow and add water to half up the block and walk away for a bit. Then come back and break it up. It expands quite a bit. Like four times do you’ll need to know where you’ll store it if you don’t plan on using the entire block. It comes to about four buskers worth. Adds great organic matter that helps loosen my soil and keeps it loamy. I mix 1/3 to 1/3 soil and 1/3 vermiculite and some compost. Perfect!
