The soft breathable fabric and the versatility offered from this brace/splint allows this brace to be worn comfortably to address various hand issues. The item description also states it can be used for either hand but I have only worn it on my right hand so far.The velcro is very sturdy, sticks very well, yet is easy to adjust to fit properly. The fabric feels like a brushed flannel and is very soft to the touch. The four aluminum splints enclosed within the fabric are not flimsy and offer a high degree of support.Highly recommend for the ease of use, versatility and quality of this hand brace.

Nice, actual splint, not a brace, actual splint. Foam and material is nice and soft, not scratchy. There are four splints in it, but... You can't remove them... They're sewn inside the splint, which is a first for me. I have loads of these types of splints and you're always able to remove them, either to wash the splint or enable more movement or dexterity. But this one is all locked up inside. So, not sure how they'll last through washes, if they'll rush or other. Usually they're made of aluminum, but can't tell with this one.

I’ve had more than my share of issues with my hands from broken bones to pulling a tendon. I don’t have carpal tunnel, but need some extra support now and then. This particular brace or fulcrum wrap is a restrictive one. If you don’t want that, I’d suggest taking a pass and looking into something compression sleeve, which are somewhat flexible.This particular brace fits a small to medium hand, but could possibly work for larger ones. It can be set up either the right or left hand. What’s interesting is the fact that this brace has four internal aluminum splints. Most braces usually have only one or two. The hardware is impact-resistant plastic. This brace does have a breathable mesh on the inside.The elasticized straps with Velcro are approximately 1-1/4” and 1” wide. I had no difficulty adjusting the brace to make it comfortable. I was able to stabilize my hand, using just the right amount of compression.
