Aviation/flying is a go!
We use this with a cable we bought for our go pro to record in flight audio. We simply switched out the plug for the go pro to this one and it works like a charm. Perfect to record the front and the cockpit views with 1 camera saving space and reducing headaches.

This mic adapter works great!
I use this mic adapter on my Insta 360 X4 and it works great. Now I can use my X4 to vlog or get some audio sounding very crisp!

Does the job. A nuisance add-on.
The adapter itself is technically functional, but it's frustrating that such a simple feature cannot be built into the camera. Its two main nuisances: 1) it's a waste of the USB-C port; quick-reader is more practical use of the port, and 2) it's small and fits tightly but is difficult to grip for quick removal; it becomes an issue when you want to change the battery quickly but the adapter blocks it. Ironically, the extra length of the adapter is for USB-C pass-through power which is more complicated to hide when recording in 360 than simply replacing the battery.FWIW, the matching cold-shoe adapter(s) also block the battery. So, it seems like Insta360/CYNOVA didn't really put much thought into these add-ons.

The media could not be loaded. USB C, 3.5mm headphone jack to attach external microphones. Really compact and nice.

Voy a regresarlo y pedir otra unidad, quiero pensar que me toco recibir una pieza mala.El adaptador nunca pude conectarlo a la camara insta360 x4, la camara no detectaba el receptor rode wireless pro que reciente compre. Apesar del soporte tecnico de insta360Lo que si conectaba es el transmisor directamente a la camara pero cuando por aparte reproduzco el video se escucha un sonido muy agudo glitch, sin audio
