Technology Parts Store Mandrel Stripper 174493, 128961, 136929, 140329 fits Craftsman Poulan Lawn Mowers

This is the piece that attaches the mandrel/spindle to the mower deck. It's basically a bracket. But different mower models have different numbers/arrangements of bolts on the mandrel. This one fits my OLD (2002-ish) Sears Craftsman LT-1000 which has THREE bolts mounting the mandrel to the deck; if your mower has FOUR or FIVE bolts on the mandrel, this probably will not fit your mower.My original part was 20 years old, so when the bearings on all the pulleys went bad I had to replace the mandrel... was hoping to reuse the old bracket but once I got it off the mower it was so rusted that it just crumbled to dust in my hand. So I had to order a replacement kit (2 new brackets). This one does the job. Same material, shape, and quality as the original one apparently. Hope it lasts another 20 years now that I've overhauled the entire mower so it's 60% new parts now LOL.Seriously, if you need the donut bracket for your mandrel/spindle assembly, AND YOUR ORIGINAL PART NUMBER IS LISTED ON THE DESCRIPTION HERE, this part will do the job for you.
