I needed a way to stop soft bathroom rugs from slipping on laminate flooring. I cut out pieces slightly smaller than the rugs, and tacked them onto the back with stitches in the corners and at the middle of each side. So far they have worked perfectly. If I need to wash them, I expect I will need to cut the stitches, although I might try one complete. Watch this space.

The specification for this product seems to have been subsequently changed from that shown in the instruction sheet in the main photo: neither side is self-adhesive and there is no protective film to remove from what, presumably, was a self-adhesive side on the original product, as implied by the product instructions shown in the main photo.In answer to an Amazon-posted question on this product, most responders indicate that neither side is self-adhesive but that both sides are tacky and grip reasonably well; yet a one responder seems to have received the original product with a protective film to be removed to present a very slightly self-adhesive side (described as "tacky rather than [properly] self-adhesive" but with one side protected by a plastic film [presimably to preserve its adhesion] as indicated in the original instructions).[I needed a slightly self-adhesive coated mesh gripper as implied by the photo's instructions, so this product didn't meet my own expectations and needs].

I love that this product is large enough to cut to fit (with ordinary scissors) more than one rug at the sizes I have in my home. The grip it has is fabulous. My rugs are on laminate and are now no longer a slip hazard. If you stood on the main one before it was like being bambi on ice so very hazardous! An anti slip product was needed pronto to stop bones being broken. It's totally solid now with normal footfall. It grips the floor and the rug well. 5 stars all round!! It was well priced for a quality product and delivery was quick!

Bought to prevent rug from slipping on laminate floor. It does an excellent jobAlso used one of the bits I cut off as an anti slip for a wooden place mat that was slipping on my sideboard I was going to throw the offcuts away but will keep them now as they also may come in useful !

I saw the reviews were mixed but decided to go for it anyway, and I’m so glad I did. Before this my rug was sliding all over the floor but after putting this underneath, it doesn’t budge! With kids and a dog running around over it, it’s such a relief to know it will stay put. Also stayed in place while hoovering. I never write reviews but felt I had to for this little piece of magic!

Carpet went from a slippery mess to super sturdy. Added benefit that it makes the carpet super soft. Would definitely buy again.

Nice rug pad

We purchased this rubber pad grip cushion to keep the rug in our hallway from scratching our hardwoods and to prevent the rug from moving. This rug pad has been perfect. The sizing was great. Our rug has not moved at all and we have heavy traffic in that area of the house. It is also protecting our hardwoods. I would recommend it.

This product gets the job done right!! It works perfectly. The rug doesn’t move when walked on. Size and quality are perfect .

I’m not great at remembering to write reviews even though I rely on them myself, but this was a superb purchase. My rug is not moving a centimetre even with only light furniture and cats running back and forth over it. And the rug feels great with the extra cushion — this pad is perfectly suitable for even a high pile rug on a hard floor.I hate spending $$ on something that’s going to be hidden under a rug and have relied on discount solutions (the little sticky netting-type pads), but this all-around rug pad is a must-have to complete the overall effect if you don’t want your rug slipping, edges curling etc.
