I bought this for my sister and she loves it!I haven’t seen it in person myself, but she would honestly tell me if she didn’t like it. My other sister would not. lol

Upon opening it from the box, I was immediately hit by the strong, pungent smell of polyurethane. That alone calls into question whether or not one might want this out in the kitchen. Also, the knife slots are too small for anything like a chef's knife or a bread knife, so again, it's probably not much use in the kitchen.At best, this is a gag item that one might put on their mantel at Halloween, holding a few steak knives for show. Glad it wasn't priced too highly.

I thought it was going to be able to hold different sized knives but all the slots are very similar

From opening it up, it look's unfortunately very disappointing. It was recommended that I buy these great ceramic knives, not one fits in it. About the only knife that will fit in is a steak knife. The slots for the knives are very small, and then smaller knives will fall and be at all funky angles. It was made to be a knife holder, and it isn’t worth the cheapest price and it fails at every point.

When we use our peninsula for food prep, it's easy to bring the knives with us.

It came exactly like the photo and every slot worked well for the knives however it has this horrible chemical smell that even soaks the knives in it as well. It’s so toxic smelling and I’ve tried everything to let the smell out and it does not fade at all. It’s such a strong chemical toxic smell that would make me nasusa and the fact it leaves it on my kitchen tools that would cut food does not make me comfortable using this . A waste of money

I was looking for a fun knife holder for my home and when looking at the pictures, I thought it would fit most of my knives.But it is only made for the steak knives.I ask for a return and the company did!Thank you

Small, smelled like varnish, light and not overly durable. Expect a $20 product you take out for Halloween.
