Cool Lamp
Amazing lamp. Made of real iron & brass pipe. Heavy, sturdy & stable. My only gripe is that the dimmer switch is a bit flimsy. It works fine, but could be better. Overall, a great piece.

Looks great, but wasn't working and is not very stable.
I do like the look of this, in spite of the fact that it wasn't lighting up. I considered reaching out to the seller for a refund or replacement, but I figured I could fix it with less hassle. Firstly, this is heavy, but it is also not very stable. It will fall over, and since the bulb is exposed, it might break, or worse you might lose a big toe, or small child if it fell on them. Secondly, if you do end up having to rewire, note that it is not as easy to disassemble as it might appear. The pieces are tightly in place with a few exceptions, but where you would need to run the cord, is too tight and I'm pretty sure there are some wire nuts stuck in the middle somewhere. I ended up running a new e12 socket and cord from the neck down through to one of the feet. My new e12 socket was bigger than the original so it didn't fit in the original brass collar so I just ended up using some o-rings to fit it snuggly into the top. As you can see from my photos, the cord sticks out from one foot, but I intend on putting this lamp on a heavy base to give it some stability anyway, so I'll cover up that issue while solving another. If the lamp had been placed on a base to begin with, even in spite of it not lighting up when I first got it, I would probably give it 4 stars just for the creativity of the design. Hypothetically would have been 5 stars had it a stable base and worked out of the box. It is also pretty pricey. I haven't done the math on the individual pieces that make this up, but I think in hindsight I probably could have made it from scratch for maybe half to two thirds the cost of this. But all negativity aside, the seller shipped fast and it does look great for a bunch of plumbing components.
