Race into action with the Transformers Prime Deluxe - Hot Shot figure. Hot Shot is a young Autobot who likes showing off. He's always trying to prove himself as a worthy warrior and often rushes headlong into danger which requires rescue - he's got a lot of potential, but also a lot to learn! Chase down the enemy as a speedy sports car or transform Hot Shot into a mighty robot with two snap-on blasters. The Transformers Prime Deluxe Hot Shot figure is suitable for fans aged 5 and up.

Not very sturdy
I was surprised that it seems a little cheap quality. Not that easy for my kid to transform and back again. In comparison we've also got some of the switch and go dinos and they are much more sturdy. I think this is a cheaper version of transformers and you get what you pay for.

Fiddly fun
Bought this for my 4 year old son for xmas - he liked it but needed an adult to transform from car to robot. He has gone back to play with it on his own several times and I am confident this will become a frequently used toy. Over all, pleased with purchase.

Hotshot Is Great
Well this is a turnip for the books, as I actually like Transformers : Prime Robots In Disguise Revealer Hotshot (sheesh, Hasbro, afraid someone's going to sneak in in the night and steal all your trademarks?). In many respects, there's nothing outwardly great about the figure. He shares that same ugly mould as TFPRID Bumblebee, so has the attendant proportion problems (just look how far away from his body the flipping arms are! There's no way that's a natural look for anybody without having them in plaster following a horrific skiing accident), ridiculous clown feet and horrible automorph paddle head, but he just looks so much better than the abysmal Bumblebee. And, why dear reader, is that? It's the colours. The vehicle mode just looks deadly in this lovely, crisp looking deep blue. The crappy block stripes of Bumblebee have been dismissed in favour of some radical tattoo flames which look epic, especially how they swirl around the front wheel arches to look like fireballs of awesome, excusing as they do, the miserable looking cheap black plastic wheels (which do spin very nicely, thank you very much). The tinted blue windows should be a shade of blue too much, but it somehow works. Although I do think a nice smoky grey / black to offset the wheels would have been a better bet. There's some nice grey for the radiator at the front and some painted rear headlights too. In short, the vehicle mode is a triumph. After the quick change to robot mode (minor aside, and it might just be mine, but the Automorph on mine doesn't work properly. The gears seem to be all jammed up on nothing, which is annoying and another reason why Automorphing is rubbish), you can perhaps see why I like Hotshot so much. He has some additional paint applications in robot mode! Just look at him, isn't he gorgeous? Joining the rich blue are some daubs of bright red, orange and some decent looking grey plastics (not that wishy washy blah that normally decorates Transformers these days, either). He looks fantastic. Best of all, he gets his own head- with flip down goggles of amazing. These are so cool. I even like his silly silver eyebrows that make him look very angry all the time. Even the light piping works.Hotshot is a real marvel and proof positive that even the crappiest of moulds can turn out nice with a bit of extra thought put into them. If you've a choice between this guy and `bee, give the yellow guy a miss. He has hundreds of other toys and they're all better than his Prime incarnation (especially that horrific Prime Cyberverse playset thing - just what is that?), and Hotshot leaks lubricant from a great height all over his yellow brethren.
