The only shoe I've used. So I don't really have a basis for comparison. But it serves the cards well using a 6 deck set for black jack and seems well built and looks nice.

A quality piece and a really nice addition to our Black Jack table.

Paint was chipped even before I removed the shrink wrap. Also, you can see spotty, thin paint to the right of my finger in the pic. Poor workmanship

Not very high quality, minor defect at the bottom right where the cards come out makes it harder to deal from, but I just need to get some sandpaper and smooth that out. However, for the price, and for the fact it comes with cards, its much better than I expected, great for the price.

The shoe works great so far and has some weight to it, which is awesome![stays in place firmly]. The cards are already showing scratches on the face sides but not on the backs. Honestly, they send you a tun of cards that work well with the shoe and don't mark easily on the backs. Unless you're using this product for professional gambling use, you will be satisfied.

The pressure foot is solid, heavy, and rolls smoothly. We purchased multiple of these for use with  Killer Bunnies and the Quest for the Magic Carrot; Blue Starter Deck  and its many expansions (2 easily fit all the promo cards and expansions, but an extra is needed if adding the Conquest sets). In the future, I will probably get a couple extra to use with other mass cards games including  Cards Against Humanity . It almost loses a star as the wood has a few tiny issues, but it does not affect the performance of the 3 units we have thus only a footnote on the review.

I like the material and look of this shoe, but it was broken at several points upon delivery. Hit it with some wood glue and it was fine, but I worry about it breaking in other places as well.

Sturdy wooden card shoe. Made of solid wood material with smooth brown finish. Is a little heavy, and may slide on a cloth covered table a bit because it lacks any little rubber feet on the bottom. Also hollow on the underside of the ramp but still painted, not that it matters. Mine did come with 8 decks of cards.
