12 inch Taper Candles Set of 4, True Dripless and Smokeless Candle Unscented, White Glossy Metal Style Candle Sticks for Home Decor,Dinner,Wedding

These arrived in perfect condition, safely packed in a larger box.Each taper fits as if it were custom-made for my 2.5 cm opening candle holders (about 0.94 inch / a smidgeon less than an inch wide -- this size opening is ideal for these candles.) Put differently, the base of these is about 0.90 inch. I have wider taper holders, and for those, I can use a dab of candle adhesive on the bottom of the taper. There's no "standard size" taper or taper holder, for the diameter can vary by as much as a quarter inch or so. They make candle adhesive for that exact situation. It's not fair to blame a candle because somebody's particular taper holder's a different size!The sheen on these is kind of white pearlescent, more than metallic.The best thing about these is the burn time -- it's the best of any taper I've ever had. When I get a new set of candles, I always do a time test. I put one in a draft-free spot, make sure the wick starts out at the proper 1/4 inch, then light it up. I write down the start time on a post-it next to it, then when I need to leave the area, I write down the blow-out time. For this candle, I burned it 5 (five) separate times, trimming the wick to a quarter inch before each burn. The total time my test candle burned was 10 hours, 17 minutes. In my experience, that's extraordinary. I realize these are 12 inches rather than the more usual 10 inches, but still, it's very clear they didn't cut corners on the proper mix of waxes to maximize the burn time per taper. I did get the last approximate 30 minutes of burn by removing the remaining base and putting it on a flat saucer, lest it crack the base of my candle holder. It wasn't necessary that I do that, but some candle holders can crack if exposed to a flame down at the base, and I didn't want to take any chances.They are ENTIRELY smokeless while burning, they emit no smells, and there was ZERO wax residue (the only thing left at the end was the tiny remains of the very bottom of the pearlescent coating at the base). Let me repeat that: there was not so much as a single drop of wax drippings / the burn was completely perfect.The quality of these is the best taper quality I've ever seen. I wish they came in more interesting colors.

I really love these candles. The white has a pearl shimmer to them. The base of the tapper candle is big enough to fit in the holder securely and not tilt. These are great.

Ordered these tapers and they arrived as pictured but one was broke in the package. I think this is a decent product but should definitely be packaged better to avoid any breakage. The color is nice and has a slight sheen to it.

2 candles were droplets and 2 made a dripping mess. They lit easily I love that they are made the way they are but wish they all did what they were intended to do. Used them for our Passover meals. They didn’t give off a smell or when off didn’t smell strong of the candle shutting off. It has a film on the candle that when placed in the holder pushes up which I wasn’t a huge fan of but cleaned off fairly easily. They lasted a while, color was accurate to description.

These candles are perfect. They have a perfect beautiful sheen to them. They came with no weird dents or marks in them. They fit great in our candlestick holder. I can’t speak for burn time or burn quality as these are used for decorations.

I rated this set of 4 taper candles 5/5 for a few reasons: 1) they are super large, making them great in terms of longevity, 2) they are really high quality; you can tell by the way they look, 3) they are simply beautiful; they have a glossy finish, which make them unique, but they still retain their white color, and they appear rather luxurious, and 4) they are a good value at just $10 for 4 really large/long candles, as this is just $2.50 for each candle, which is relatively cheap, especially considering their features, such as being dripless & smokeless, which I have yet to verify as I have not yet tried them out, but if I have anything to add to my review after trying them out, I'll be sure to update. Furthermore, they come in a nice, safe package. I don't really have any issues with these candles, as they are pretty perfect as they are. With all of this being said, I'd definitely recommend these taper candles to anyone, regardless of their purpose, as they are very versatile and of great value & style.

These are lovely, white taper candles with a subtle pearly sheen.I paired these with a set of gold candle holders, also from Amazon, and I love the look. I'm saving these to use on a special occasion because they are so pretty.These come individually wrapped in a form-fitted plastic box. The box was slightly squished in shipping, but the candles arrived in perfect condition.Because I have not burned these, I don't know if they are drip-less or smokeless, per the product page. But, so far, I am very happy with these and would consider ordering them again. I will update my review if there are issues with use.The retail price at the time of this review is $9.99 and the Prime price is $8.49. This seems like a very reasonable price for these elegant candles. So far, I recommend.
