I bought this flosser after running out of floss in my dispenser and having to use some of my wife's floss picks. I thought they were incredibly wasteful, so I went searching for a better solution.I was hesitant at the price tag, but I figured my teeth have already cost me thousands in orthodontist bills, so I might as well spend money to take care of them.I received this flosser about 2 weeks before my next cleaning, and I used it twice a day since. It does take a bit of practice to find out how to wrap it properly, but once you do it really only takes about 5 seconds to do it. On the plus side, it uses slightly less floss than just wrapping it around your fingers.Now to the part that anyone still reading is waiting for: The dental cleaning. My hygienist barely had to do anything to my teeth at my appointment. In the past, I'd have at least 30 minutes of debridement around my permanent retainer, but not this time. The hygienist remarked that my teeth and gum health was fantastically better than when I first started seeing her about 10 years ago.The main benefit of this flosser is that it holds the floss very taut and allows you so much more control over the floss. I can now floss nearly 360 degrees around every tooth in about the same amount of time as flossing between each tooth took with just my hands.If the mechanism ever breaks, I'll definitely be buying a second one.

I bought this as my dentist says I need to floss more. But with plain floss, by itself I find it difficult to floss back teeth well and put too much pressure on my front teeth so they bleed. Dentist suggested using floss picks, but I find I need 2 or 3 floss picks each time, as my close teeth makes the floss go slack. Also, using floss-picks is so bad for the environment! So I was looking for something better on amazon.I bought this this flosser device, hoping it would be a reasonable alternative.This device is awesome and it lives up to its advertisement. Wish I knew this existed earlier.Benefits I have found:- I use significantly less flossing thread than if I was doing it with my fingers, so saves money long term on floss.- because I'm not concentrating on holding the floss and tension, this means my floss technique has improved with the at the same pressure level as my dentist uses to floss and not the excessive pressure I was doing. My gums aren't puffy anymore. (yay!)- if the floss loses tension, the twisting mechanism makes it go back to perfect.- with three flossing parts available, you basically get three floss-picks in one set up- setup is super easy and about the same time as winding around your fingers.Im going to buy ones for each of my family members, its such a good invention!
