not real stable for us
My husband needs a llittle assist getting up off the floor. Having just one post was not enough support for him to get up. He needs something he can put in front and push off with both hands.

Needs a heavier base
Works for some support. Could use a wider heavier base for more support.

Sturdy and does not slip!
Very well designed and very sturdy, adjustable height that doesn’t slip, large comfortable handle, large base so it will stand on it’s own. It’s very nice to use getting up off your knees, I use it a lot so will recommend and would buy again.!

Not stable. Base too small. Good only in limited spaces.
I have a smaller one by a different brand that helps me get up from floor. Very stable!I needed this one next to the toilet to help me get up occasionally. This is the only spot I will use it: it wobbles a lot due to too small of a base. I can’t fall in that spot, so I find it acceptable there. Barely.I want them to redesign it with a bigger base to make it safer & to allow it to be used everywhere. The height is perfect.

NO STABILITY FOR SENIORS
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who is senior, disabled or has weak arm or hand muscles. It is a good idea in theory. I am a senior but I still do all my own housework, gardening, DIYing around the house, etc... when I'm tired or not feeling 100% I still need to stay active but could use a little help getting up when I'm kneeling. This mobility tool is NOT stable! I used it to get up placing it on a tile floor. The first thing I didn't like was that the handle did not have any foam or grippy tape (like around a bike handle or golf club...). It was just a round metal handle that wasn't even large enough for a firm, stable grip. Foam would've been good here, especially for elderly hands. Then the base... it's fairly flexible! That meant that the tool could and would flex a bit when pushed down on! That said, when I tried it, it did! Nearly broke my wrist when I pushed down on it to get up. The tool fell forward under pressure and my wrist twisted. What it could use here is a wider, more firm base to withstand the pressures of a person pushing down upon it.About the only thing I liked on this was the push button height adjustment. that was the only sturdy thing on this alleged standing aid device. I used it at a couple of levels and the tool acted the same at both levels, high and low.

Sturdy suggest two.
Took a second to get #2 to lock but now solid and sure can assist rise after a fall. Cloth case is superfluous and a little small. But tool is solid and strong enough to support my 300 pounds.

Wobbles and will fall down
Taller you make it less sturdy it is.. wanted to use it to get off couch and went off balance and had to use the coffee table to catch my fall..

Works as advertised.
This is a great help to me. Both of my knees need to be replaced. When I kneel down I have to have some support to get back up. This more than does the job. It has been great.

There is nothing positive about this
As a disabled person, I thought it was taller at this height. It is no good for me to get up even up with bed
