Not bad...even when they offer a $30 off coupon
I was very skeptical about these at first. I looked at a lot of other inserts for the 2018 tailgate and ended up buying these. I thought they looked the best out of all the others and I couldn't be more happier. I followed the directions to a T and it ended out perfect. I did take my Harbor Freight heater and warmed up the tailgate as the letters were getting warmed up by the window defroster. Just take your time and DO NOT press hard until you are 100% happy with the placement. The number 5 gave me the most problems but install took me about 2-3 minutes a letter. I did wear nitrile gloves when I installed the letters and I used a microfiber cloth with isopropyl alcohol to clean where the letters could go after washing. Just take your time and don't rush the install.

Awesome Product
These inserts are very high quality and worth the cost. I have an XLT with the Sport Appearance Package, and the color of the grille almost perfectly matches these Raptor style inserts (see photo with this review) . I like the way they helped coordinate the front and rear of my truck.I cut the sheet so that I could install one insert at a time. Very happy with the results.

No go on black and chrome!
Look better in the pics from seller. Once installed on my truck and protective tape removed chrome looks faded like a brush finish. Looks good from far but far from good. Didn't bother messaging seller due to they are installed hard to get a refund or better ones right now with delays in deliveries.

I'm impressed
I am impressed by the quality of these. Directions were there, but it's also pretty straight forward what needs to be done. The "1" gave me the most trouble, nothing to do w/ the product, just an over sight, but if you just gently lay them in like the instruction suggest. You can reset & try again. Took me approximately 3 - 4 tries just for that one specific character. Then once you press them down. They're not budging. Little expensive even with the 30$ coupon code, but I went with premium pricing for that potential peace of mind in quality. Would recommend to anyone.

Nice understated "old school" looking trim
subdued, sublime, subtle highlight of existing tailgate debossed logo. I might increase the width of the chrome edge 50%, or make them a little more proud (thick). Increasing the chrome edge would be hard consider the font style. The 3D/embossed aspect can get lost in dark black/blue etc color truck, since the letters are actually "sunk in" to surface by debossment.

Looks Amazing!
I love the look of this! Makes a huge difference in appearance of what is otherwise a somewhat boring/bland tailgate. Easy to install. Properly clean the area you plan to adhere it to and take your time to line it up before full on pressing of letters. Once it is stuck...it is stuck yo! Good quality. Durable. OEM look. Not gawdy like something you would buy from your local auto store...... i.e. - skull and flames or iron cross... This products is totally worth the $.

Really sets truck off
I originally thought this seemed like a lot of money for what it was, however after receiving and applying it to my 2018 F150 I am very pleased. This really sets the truck off and apart from the other F150's with he regular factory stamped tail gate. Would recommend, would buy again.
