Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Having spent a small fortune trying out different types of boots for my dog, I am pleased to say that finally I found these which I am 100% happy with. My dog has used these on a daily basis since they were delivered on 13 October. I have taken my time in submitting a review as I wanted to give an honest review based on their long-term use. My dog walks with the aid of a ‘Walking Wheels’ quad wheelchair, as he has arthritis in his elbows and a disc extrusion in his neck. This means he has to remember to lift his feet which tend to drag at times, hence with previous boots I have tried the toes have worn out after just one short walk. He only needs boots for his front paws and, as these come as a set of four, he still has two spare. Over a month later, the boots still stay on and have plenty of wear left in them. The boots are easy to put on and my dog finds them easy to walk in and appears comfortable and confident in them. The fact that these boots have rubber soles which extend over the toe area means they are perfect for my dog. My dog is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and I bought a size 4 for him which are an excellent fit. I am absolutely delighted with the boots and would highly recommend them.

Not bad, save for the quality of the velcro
I didn't want to post a review until a sufficient amount of time has passed, so I have a good chance to see how they do with our super energetic Springer Spaniel. Well, about a month has passed, as did my initial enthusiasm of these boots. The first week or two, the boots did great, and didn't fall off, no matter how much she'd run around. The only complaint I could have had was the fact that I kept finding tiny thorns, and grass seedlings inside the shoe. This was the very reason I even bought them in the first place, as my dog had some trouble with them getting stuck in her paws, and then a whole mess of things ensued. Well, there were still less of them, than if she'd gone barefoot, so all in all I was happy with my purchase.Fast forward to about a week ago, when the velcro started to wear thin for some reason. This means that the boots aren't properly secured anymore, and fall off when the running around begins. I plan to replace the velcro, but I didn't expect this to happen, at least not so soon. Since they were a lot cheaper than some other similar boots, I can't really take away more than one star for this. They do look incredibly stylish, and they do not hurt her feet, which is great. She needed a few days to get used to them, but now she runs around like she doesn't even have them on.I would like to point out, that if your dog hasn't had his/her dew claws removed, you might have a problem with them, because the height of the boot is somewhere around there (not very high), so it might prove troublesome. All in all, not a bad purchase, if you're willing to sew a little bit, after the velcro stops doing its job.

Make sure you measure correctly ..they come up rather small
Study and durable but buy larger than you would think as they are not as wide as you may wish

Hard to keep on.
Have a habit of coming off and could not keep a full set on for more than ten minutes outside.

Found these very useful, as my dog has spondylosis of the spine ...
Found these very useful, as my dog has spondylosis of the spine she drags her feet, these help her to walk without causing further damage to the cuticles plus they seem to make her walk better.
