I have a white whippet who likes to sunbathe, I put this on his nose, ears, and bare tummy. I use another spray product for the rest of him, so far so good as far as I can tell, doesn’t leave his skin/coat greasy and smells ok.

Cat is not impressed but had adapted quickly to applying daily. I’m happy with the results. Difficult to wash off hands.

Lovely stuff although the cat wasn’t amazed when I put it on her.

An alright balm for sun exposed noses. The balm hasn’t got any noticeable smell so my dog isn’t trying to lick it off or anything which I appreciate. The SPF isn’t super high but it is better than nothing.It applied easily and melt into the skin. The tub is small and with the coupling of the low spf I don’t know if it’ll be a repurchase for me but I appreciate the ethos of the company and the ingredients. As with any new product always patch test and see if your pet reacts well. Mine has had no adverse affects so far.

Easy to use and store

This actually caused first degree burns on my Cat causing her much distress and a Vets Visit. I would not recommend this to anybody. It has been 3 weeks since I wrote the original Product review and as the 2nd picture shows The Burn has not improved. I wrote to the Makers of this Product but to Date have received a response. Please do not buy this. Please do not cause your Cat the suffering mine is currently going through.

This is such a handy little tub to keep in my bag when we're out walking the dog in the sun or if we're away camping, he has a very thin short coat and a bald muzzle so protecting his skin from harmful UV rays is super important. I don't notice a fragrance to it, it goes on easily and should last the season

I disagree with the inconvenience of having to returned damaged merchandise that is unusable. Please replace or refund without this inconvience. The dog sunscreen came with a damaged/bent container that has unsealed and half empty. The product looks compromised and not in its natural form.

Received this today. The top of the balm has several med size bubbles on top. It’s not smooth. I hope it is not from incorrect storage in the warehouse.Spreading this was much easier, than a previous brand that I bought that was very gritty and difficult to spread. I used this on my dogs ears and it went on well and absorbed pretty good- my dog’s ears were not left looking greasy. It had a nice light smell to it. I will update once I use it on my dog when it’s super sunny. I hope the spf 15 works because my dogs ears turns red and burns very easily on the inside. As mentioned above it was not smooth on the top of the balm when first opening. There was med size bubbles on top. It looked as though it might not have been stored well at the warehouse. I really hope this did not compromise the sunscreen ingredients. We’ll see.UPDATE:My dog has had very soft stools for a while. $500 vet bills later, meds and food change, I realized that this has Titanium dioxide as an ingredient which can cause gastrointestinal issues in dogs. Will be retuning. Why is this ingredient in a product marketed as dog safe???After researching, I learned that titanium dioxide (this product has it) Octinoxate, Oxbenzone (Benzophenone-3) and zinc oxide (these 3 are not in this product) cause gastrointestinal upset and irritation. Quite a few products on Amazon listed as “dog safe” have one or more of these ingredients in their product. I will be searching for another dog sunscreen and be mindful of the ingredients list.

Ho preso questa protezione solare perché il mio bordercollie è sempre un po’ rosso intorno al naso, ho pensato che fosse il sole (probabilmente lo è). Solo che una protezione 15 è davvero molto bassa, e basta che si lecchi i baffi una mezza volta per far sparire il prodotto. Inutile per noi.
