This works well when you're transferring a camera to a tripod and to your neck often, and don't want a camera strap getting in the way when it's on the tripod. I like the modular approach this uses rather than some special-purpose connection to the camera. BOTH side-releases must be pressed to let go, so won't accidentally get bumped on one side and release.Arca plate fits standard 38mm Arca base, and standard 38mm Arca plates fit in this strap and latch in. The only limitation to clicking other things into this is the plate must be small, and must not have end-stop screws that stick from the underside.

Bought this and the backpack clip hoping I could swap back and forth. The plate that came with this rattles around and was very loose on the backpack clip, to the point that I didn't trust the clip to hold the camera. I thought this whole system was supposed to be interchangeable, but I guess you just gotta get lucky with tolerance stacking to get pieces that really do work together.

I bought this as I already had one of these and totally love it and I wanted a second one to give to my son for his camera. I have been getting him into photography gradually since both he and I are very busy with multiple jobs most of the time.FALCAM makes fantastic photography accessories and the F38 is another awesome piece of kit for holding your camera to the strap.
