The short form is that we really like this shade. Shade material, stitching, and mounting hardware quality was very good. At >90 degF, 75% RH, and blue skies, this changes a lot about how much we use our pool in the summer. This was the first shade that we ever ordered, and I had expected something different, more like a stitched tarp-style shade that I've seen at restaurant outdoor sections and similar...one that could pose a rain and wind hazard. So, I had not understood that the shade construction was not like an impervious tarp, but instead a nice thick weave that still passes some air, water, and highly-attenuated sunlight. I was spending the extra money for what I hoped was a decent product, but it greatly exceeded my expectations. This is acceptable.Attractively packaged on receipt. Delivered on time. Robust double stitching on the edges. The weave felt a little funky at first, almost like I'd bought a woven blanket instead. The 316 stainless turnbuckles (oversized, easy to hand-tighten), carabineers, a pad eyes were a nice quality feature out of the box. We live in a hot coastal salt-air environment, so good-quality stainless is a must outdoors. I usually throw factory-supplied hardware into the "donations" box.The opening in which we installed the shade is 20'4"x13'10". What we found is that this is good stretch, decent tension, but I wouldn't have wanted to use it in any smaller opening. The instructions are a little thin, but trying to anticipate all applications would probably merit a whole lot more pages. They do tell you to not be afraid to stretch it, that it likes to be taught, and lasts longer that way. All good, but we took it slow and careful anyway. I had anticipated fabricating some wire-rope extensions in this space, but turned out to not need anything like that. I would like to have a few more inches of stretch in each dimension, but I will take the trade for having the oversized carabineers and turnbuckles that make it straightforward to put up and take down.One more note, you should be aware that shades of this size can exert a lot of force if a high wind catches them. Unless you anchor them to a concrete wall or trees, I would recommend you look carefully at what part you want to fail first in the event of a sudden severe storm. For example, would prefer to not have a $100 shade cause failure of a $10,000 pool enclosure. I fabricated some custom brackets and used smaller fasteners to ensure failure in the mounting before exerting a damaging load on the screen.

Very impressed with the thickness of the material! The whole sale looks extremely well put together. Getting ready to install the sail after the posts are installed .Stay tuned.

Worked perfect for the space. Made a sunny pool deck usable in the hottest part of the day. Wish I would have bought it sooner.

LyShade sun shade sail fits beautifully. It has the same quality as the most pricier sunshade. I will be buying another one in the soon.

It saved my garden veggies from frying in the summer , if they need more sun then this may be too thick, heavy so you need some support to keep from drooping, great buy!

Received the shades exactly as described. They were a little tricky to put up, but once everything was adjusted they worked out well. I set them on 6 by 6 posts. Although they come with all Hardware, I did add some extra turnbuckles. I hope they hold up! I ordered the green and blue. For this size, the poles were set 15 ft apart in width and 23 ft in length.

We've only had the shade up for about 2 weeks now, and aside from there not being enough rope,(which I had to go to Home Depot to buy more), it's working out pretty good.

Very nice shade. Wish it called out the actual shade area. True shade area about 20% less then the attachment points lengths
