Very nice quality paints. Well presented too.
A great little starter kit or gift set for those into painting miniatures. The paints seem durable, and of good quality. The containers themselves feel premium too. They're all presented nicely, and work very well. Recommended!

Quality set of pigment rich miniature paints
The Army Painter Warpaints Fanatic: Starter Set Combo, 11 paints: 7 acrylic colours, 2 Metallics, 1 Wash, 1 Brush-On Primer, 1 Basecoating Brush, Plus 1 Free Miniature figure and Starter BrushThis kit contains everything you need to start painting your miniatures. It even comes with brushes, a painting guide and a free miniature figure to practice on. The Acrylic paints cover very well and and have a high pigment content in them so you can one-coat most models. I like the fact that included in the kit are a couple of metallic effect paints as well, these are great for armour etc.Of course, being acrylic paint you can also thin them down to provide more of a ‘wash’ type colour to whatever degree you want. Other colours are available if you want to add more to your collection. I like the fact that ball bearings (I think) are added to the bottles of paint, which makes it really easy to mix the paint in the bottle before use.My Warhammer models have never looked so good, recommended!

Good Starter Kit
Great starter pack into the hobby of painting miniatures etc.Parcel arrived on time, and well packed. The kit included, 11 x 18ml Acrylic Paints. Good base selection to start your collection. Plus two brushes, the "Fanatic" figure miniature to paint, plus a really good colour booklet on how to build, and paint.I did notice that Army painter do not use the industry standard for denoting brush sizes, instead, as per photo, they use some generic term which is totally ambiguous, why? Yes I appreciate it's simplifying what some may find as confusing when looking at brush size markings. That said calling a brush a starter brush really helps no one. Plus if you're going to do that, perhaps also include the industry standard so new people to the hobby can learn the correct terminology and be able to relate (size wise) to the brush. Also include a sheet of stickers (as per photo)The paints are good, good selection, plus a great way to acquire some of the most used starter paints in a bundle for a lot less than individually. All in all, a great kit, apart from my moan about the the brush naming....5/5

Fantastic starter set of paints, and not just for minis!
This set is a really great start point for painting minis (and non-minis, Ive been using them on full scale 3d print helments as well!)My set came with 2 brushes (a basecoat brush and a "starter brush") of which both are a similar thickness tip, just one is shorter bristles than the other. There was also a mini in the box so you can test out your new paints and get learning. To help with this as well there is a copy of a guide of how to paint, base, and generally get started in the minis hobby. A nice touch as sometimes its better to sit down with a hard copy than a digital one when doing things like this. The colours provided, while a "basic" set are good. The paint quality is outstanding. It requires very little for excellent coverage on most of the colours meaning that while the price may seem high, its actually pretty economical! The bottles themselves have mixing balls in them, are sufficiently thinned to make application easy, and have droppers for much finer control of the quantity you use.I couldn't be happier with these honestly, and despite the initially high feeling cost, I cannot recommend them enough.

good enough for strarters and professionals alike
This set of acrylic paints is very good for anyone who starts a new hobby of miniature painting. I would even say it is good enough for those who are trying to sharpen their skills. The set contains seven base colors, which can be mixed between each other to achieve the perfect desired color shade. The set also has 2 metallic paints, brush, on-primer and strong tone. There is even a free brush and miniature. This set is everything you will need to step into the world of coloring your miniature military toy models.

This is high quality miniature paint
Coverage is really strong. Actually 2 thin coats. The triad system is amazing and has a secret hack if you're into mixing on the fly. Fanatic stabilizer can be used with any neutral pallets to make extremely simple easy to recreate recipes. Want a color on the triad you are using for a few models, 1 drop stabilizer, white goes up the triad, black goes down and add your pigment in the center of the triad. It's also amazing to make washes, glazed, and simple shaders. War Paints Stabilizer is the one product that should be in here. It's enhanced my ability to put pigments where I want.

If you're looking for a set to start miniature painting, don't buy this one.
I recently started painting miniatures and chose this set as a beginner, but I realize now it was a big mistake. I loved the Warpaints Fanatic paints, and the miniature included in the set was helpful for testing and practice. The quality of the paints impressed me so much that I ordered additional colors directly from the Army Painter website. So, why am I advising against this set? Because I believe that "The Army Painter GameMaster: Adventure Starter Role-playing Paint Set" is much better option - it's also sold in Amazon. It costs about 12-13 euros more, but it comes with same Warpaint Fanatic paints and it includes 15 paints instead of 11. Additionally, it comes with 5 miniatures. The GameMaster set includes a useful skin tone (Barbarian Flesh/Rosy Skin), which will be especially helpful when painting hero figures. So I definitely suggest you to buy GameMaster set instead of Warpaints Fanatic Starter Set.
