this saw was pricier than other major brands but this Japanese blade cuts through live tree branches like butter. Smaller branches take only one swipe and it's off. Dead wood takes a little longer to get through but still cuts with ease. Just need to go slower to prevent bowing of the blade. Love the scabbard, not only does it protect but swivels 360. This is money well spent.

The media could not be loaded.  The Pruning Saw with Scabbard Japanese is a great tool for different things, but I got it mostly for hiking, we like to explore and mostly some trails are woody and full of branches so with this saw is easy to take the lead and be cutting branches while you walk and open a new trail.The saw is lightweight and easy to mauver and the edges are very sharp that makes it easy to clear the path of branches.The saw has a case with a clip so you can store the saw there while not in use and the clip so you can put it on your hiking belt for easy grabbing.Also very good price for this nice tool!!

I like everything about it except the thickness of the blade. Apart from this, the size, the cutting, basically the performance is great! Plus very nice “sheath”.

This a a very sharp saw. Light weight. Easy to use. Comfortable handle. The sheath is very well designed. It secure sand protects the saw blade. Overall quality is very good. I don't have any complaint. I am an eighty-year-old man. I can cut a 6 inches diameter branch in less than a minute. If I can do it, I think everyone can do it as well. I am very happy with the purchase.
