Chromatic Aberration introduced.
Overall, I need to test it a bit more. Needed it in a hurry, and bought a more 'budget friendly' reducer. Now I have to learn how to remove CA. Performed the focal reduction nicely, however. Need to test with a different camera to verify concerns.

Got this to take pictures of the Sun & Moon
Got this to go on my brother's 8 inch Celestron schmit-cassegrain telescope to take pictures of the total solar eclipse, so I would have a wide enough field of vision to get the whole Sun in one picture. Normally you could only see part of the Sun (or moon). I want to use it to take some pictures of the full moon, with my Canon 70D, but have not so far. This combined with the "Telescope Camera T2 Adapter Ring Set, M42x0.75 Male T2 to SCT Female Telescope Photo Adapter Aluminum Alloy SCT Adapter..." worked great. It gave you the right distance (50mm, I think) plus 5mm from the T-ring adapter for a total of 55mm. I already had the Canon T-ring adapter so this kit had the one for a Nikon, but it was only a few days until the solar eclipse so install and getting it on time was more important.
