Well made, quiet, inexpensive

These motors rock. I think I might get one in every size. They work perfect for foam board scratch builds. Very tough, and run smooth. Just as good as a name brand motor 3X the price. I have 3 different sizes, all still going strong.

I've use 4 of these 14 pole, 12 slot, 1120KV motors in the past 4 years. They are made in China under a few different names. My only criticism is that the shaft and/or prop adapter will bend more easily than with some of the more expensive motors (from ground contact). But at that point the plane is usually toast.In a light (20 - 30oz) sport / aerobatic plane, on 3 cells with a 10X5" or 11X4" propeller, this motor delivers all the performance that an airframe - or pilot needs.

They all worked great with good power. One failed after I put it in the ground like a lawn dart so user error of that one.

I build foamy planes. I recently tried a 4S pack on this little monster. I used servo size screws to secure the motor to the firewall. It pulled (stripped) the screws out if the firewall on first full throttle attempt. WOW!

Motor came in good shape and working order.

Works 10 times better than I thought.

I'm not super crazy about the label the way it's placed on the motors. I've had them sort of flap off over time. However, the motors have never jammed or had any performance issues for me. They are very easy to use, and the wires can easily be swapped if there are any directional issues. For the money, you really can't go wrong with these motors.

the only reason for 4 stars is the kit comes with wrong size prop adaptor. It is too small for the shaft prop mount. But I have other motors by the same manufacturer and they are good motors.
