Installation tip.
The fingers that go on the Hatteras on the inside of sand filter, you have to install them 1 at a time inside the tank. Some brands of sand filters have one pc lateral that the fingers just hold up and down. That would be a lot easier to put together or replacement if needed like i had to do for installation.

Item is faulty and Company will not do anything to help, WILL NOT EVEN CONTACT ME.
Do not purchase this filter! Waste of money. I purchased it May 3, 2025, Did not install it till July 2025. Did not use over winter, This June the tank split about three inches at top, water spray everywhere. Contacted SWIMLINE HYDROTOOLS POOLS and they will. get back to me. There is only one year warranty so I told them I would like to purchase another tank, (don't ask me why if the first one is no good) still no answer. My view is don't bother with this company. ( And let me tell about the warranty I purchased along with this, IT IS NOT GOOD ITHER. THEY SAY THEY WILL ONLY COVER $300.00 AND BECAUSE THE ITEM IS MORE THEY WILL NOT COVER ANYTHING)

It is very complete system was missing some parts but after getting extra parts it works very good, needs more detail instruction and the front pump couplins

Leaked
Pump works fine. Sand filter works great. But the connection issue and parts arriving broken are definitely an inconvenience. The pump threads are stripped out.

Dual speed pump only works on low.
The pump is supposed to be dual speed and the high speed doesn’t work on ours. It only works on low speed. Disappointed. The filter is fine and the pump works well on low speed, but paid a little extra for the dual speed pump.

It's great
No problems. Keeps my pool Chrystal clear. With my old filter it was work. This one is awesome. It keeps my pool so clean I use unbelievably less chlorine and my chlorine reading stays.in the ideal range for a long time without adding any.

Waste of time and money
Horrible product! Did not install until after return date and pump does not even move water! Approximately 5 feet from the wall is what it reached! Extreme waste of money stay away! After connecting pump and refilling, pool is green from no movement.

Not happy with this product ,,,for the money spent should be all around quality materials….
Leaking plastic fittings..evevn with Teflon tape ..DIRECTIONS SUCK ,,,NOT ENOUGH PIC S TO FOLLOW,,THE HOSE TO TANK EN PUMP THE ORINGS VERY FLIMSY DONT STAY IN PLACE WHEN FASTENING…AND THE HOSE HARD AS A ROCK NO FLEXIBILITY WHEN INSTALLING ..NO GUAGE IN THE BOX ..FOR THE VALVE ON SAND TANK…
