Awesome sensory bin!
This sensory toy set is so cool! Our 7 year old nephew is autistic and he loves sensory toys, but this one quickly became his favorite! The kinetic sand is really awesome. Even I like playing with it. I've never seen magnetic sand, so it was very interesting to check out. My boy likes the army pieces and likes how the "water" area reacts to everything. I love that everything is in a storage box and can be kept clean and organized. My little guy loves this set so much and plays with it a few times throughout the day. This will make n awesome gifts for kiddos, especially if they have sensory issues. It's a really cool kit and absolutely worth buying!

Tons to explore, somewhat sticky situation
First of all, this set comes in a very nice sturdy clear bin that stores everything inside. Yay! It comes with tons of shapes, shovels, guys, and weapons to explore in the sand with. The 4 military vehicles are VERY well-made metal vehicles, probably the kids' favorite part. You get a decent amount of magic sand in a traditional beach color, a ton of blue and white foam balls, and a small quantity of clean-looking rocks for a variety of sensory experiences. The sand is sticky and stretchy and it will do just like the pictures show which is to slowly flow through your fingertips. When I squeeze a handful, it compacts together, but when I release my fist, it immediately slowly expands and spreads while falling. It's unlike any other magic sand I've had which usually keeps its shape until you smash it, yet never dries out. This is fascinating stuff. On the other hand, the downside is that it is sticky. It sticks to your skin very well and doesn't easily dust off like regular magic sand. It's more like trying to dust off beach sand while you're wet; it ain't happening! I got it off my hands as much as possible and I still felt sticky, but it did wash off easily with soap and water. I see this being a problem with kids who don't get it off their hands enough and then they will wash it down my sinks which will slowly become clogged. This would be a great outdoor activity where kids could get washed by the hose outside when they're done, or if you're inside, at least have a bucket of water handy to rinse their hands in that can get dumped outside. The foam balls are also sticky. The packaging describes them as water beads that need to be soaked in water hours ahead of time to expand. There must have been a product change without changing the packaging because these are just foam balls (like packing peanuts) that do not expand in water AT ALL. They're full of static electricity and therefore stick to everything while dry or they create water tension and stick to everything while wet; either way, they're sticky.Overall, this is a great set and well worth the price tag ($11.50 at the time of this review), just be cautious of clean-up time.

Loaded Playset; All The Bells and Whistles
I selected this sensory bin for my youngest son to provide him with an outlet for playtime inside the home. I found this to be a loaded set with many accessories, and the best part of the kit was the kinetic sand. The sand was exactly as described and had a nice texture while holding its position, and it was not as messy as regular sand or slime that my son has been used to playing with. I appreciated how well the bin was made and noted that the parts were of quality plastic and that the assembly was simple, with very few steps. The color was also very nice. My son has been playing with this bin for many hours and continues to express his enjoyment with the toy. I am delighted with this toy and have noted the high value for money.

So awesome!
This sensory bin is so awesome and even better to give as a gift! Unlike the other sensory bins with toxic water beads, this one comes with foam balls, stretchy sand and MANY other toys! Each set of toys comes individually wrapped in their own pack making it easier to organize. Your child can enjoy making a bunker or even a battle scene with the many army figures and military pieces it comes with. It also has toys you can use to dig in the sand and the best part about the sand, is that it's more stretchy instead of messy sand that'll get all over the place. This is absolutely perfect for kids between 3-8 in my opinion. I gave this as a gift for my nephew and he absolutely loves it! Great product!

Great Fun
My son loves this sandbox kit. The magic sand has a great feel to it and he likes the way the "water" area reacts to the toy figures and vehicles. The box is good at containing any mess and storing the whole thing in one tidy sealed container. The vehicles and figures are also pretty decent quality and my son likes that the vehicles have some metal to them.

Not a fan of the little white and blue beads
This is definitely a fun set, however I really don’t like the small beads. I always fear my toddlers are going to pop one in their mouth thinking it’s candy. Other then that, it really is a fun set

Damaged, instruct to put water in container but container has holes
The media could not be loaded. Pros: the sand is like Kinect sand. Like play-doh or slime hybrid. It does not make a mess.It has tiny pebbles, plastic grass, trucks, army guys, and other props.Fun to play for any kid of any age.Cons:It instructs you fill it with water but the container itself has cracks and holes so it defeats the purposes of filling it up with water to inflate the water beads. You have to soak the water beads ahead of playing it.The item we got is damaged, cracked, broken. It is double boxed and it looks like it was repackaged so the item was deliberately send to us damaged.Since I was saving it until my autistic son was able to earn tokens, we were 5 days outside the 30 day return window when my son finally earned this toy. Unfortunately only then we noticed it was broken / damaged. Who would have thought since it did t ship in its own box. It was double boxed. And both boxes are not damaged.

It's Okay.
This sensory bin is ok, especially for an $11 price tag. The "water beads" are not water beads tho, they are little foam balls that slightly expand when left in water. But they stick to EVERYTHING. It drove my kid nuts and he ended up giving up on this item pretty quick. The sand is nice, and the army guys and cars were a hit. I probably wouldn't order again, even with the cheap price tag.
