I got this for my daughter. She's got really bad back acne scars and is very insecure about them. She's getting married next year and would really like to wear a strapless dress. We've been researching top scar remover remedies, and Amaira was one of the top 3 recommendations. She's been using this cream for around 2 months and it's already made such a HUGE difference. The small scars have almost vanished and the deeper scars are shrinking and getting lighter. I can see that she feels more confident every day. I like that it's made with high quality, natural, plant-based ingredients. It's comforting to know that it's made in an FDA-licensed facility in the US. I don't like buying products for the skin that are made in other countries where there's little to no quality checking. I'm SO glad we took a chance and tried this cream. It's a little pricey, but it's worth every single penny! We'll definitely be repurchasing VERY soon!

I had surgery on my ankle last November that left me with two rather significant scars. One is about 3 inches and is healing rather well on its own with some very noticeable redness from the stitches and other deep intrusions to the skin. The larger incision is about 7 inches and is very "ropey" feeling and raised with significant deep colored redness. After nine months the incision is still healing and peeling the outer layers of skin slightly. I try to exfoliate it as much as possible when I am in the shower, and both incisions are improving more each day, but I'd like to speed up the process. That's why I ordered this cream. I may eventually try laser therapy, but this cream is a more economical route and worth the effort hopefully. I've only applied a few times, but I can already see a fading of the redness of the smaller scar. The larger scar hasn't faded in color a lot, but it does feel more supple than it did before I began applying the cream. This product is rather expensive, so I would recommend you use sparingly so that it lasts long enough to yield results. A little goes a long way. It has little to no scent at all. It reminds me of the pharmaceutical quality treatments and products available from my dermatologist's office. I hope with continued use this cream provides improvement to my surgery scars.

I have various scars on my body, old and new, so I like to try scar creams to see what helps (even though vitamin E is one of the best for scars). This one sounded promising with it's marine botanicals and all, but I think I got a bad batch, because it did come wrapped in plastic and sealed but it smells only like rancid oil. There is no expiration date or even manufacturing date, so I don't know when it was made. It has ingredients like cucumber and green tea, so I thought it would smell like either nothing or like those, but nope.. I only smell old oil, so I won't be using it :(

On Memorial Day 2023 I had been recently released from the hospital after a bacterial infection I got from a mudbath...and the stay had been made even longer by a mistake at my local emergency room. I had been on pain medication and really shouldn't have been handling a sharp blade, but I had decided that in that moment I needed not only to assemble a piece of furniture, I also wanted to cut down the boxes. This quickly became another emergency because I sliced a 6" deep gash in my calf. I didn't want to go back to the ER I felt like had tried to kill me, so I went to a nearby drug store and got steri-strips. The wound healed, but left an ugly red line. I have tried other things to help alleviate it, but nothing really worked. I was doubtful this would work, either, but thought I would give it a try. It does say use it 6-8 weeks for results, but I am so excited I had to respond sooner. In two weeks of 2x/day use, this stuff has already almost completely eliminated the red coloring to the scar. I will try to remember to update after the 8 week mark, but so far this is completely worth it.

I'm using this to try to fade some pregnancy stretch marks - it's too soon to see any REAL difference yet, but the cream itself is lightweight, non-greasy, and feels very moisturizing and nourishing on my skin - which is making me very hopeful! It's a small tube, but a little goes a LONG way.It does have a bit of a strange smell though - sort of "salty", like play-doh. It's not necessarily unpleasant, but if you're sensitive to scents be aware that this is NOT entirely scent-free.

I did not expect a magic. But I did notice my scars fading away after 2 weeks. I will continue using it. I’m not sure to what extent it can fade my scars but so far I’m happy to see the result.

I applied this to a rather pronounced scar on a fingertip of mine over the course of a few weeks. The cream is pleasant enough to use and I like the smell, I just didn't really notice any difference in my scar area except it was perhaps a little more moisturized. I think this might do well if you have a fine scar but in my case (where it's almost a V-shaped "scoop" of a wound from earlier) it really didn't do anything of note.I'm not closing the door completely on this one since it may work with some fine scars but it really didn't do anything of note to my nasty one.

Amaira Advanced Scar Vanishing Cream with Marine Botanicals Is expensive for a small tube. It takes a while for results to be seen and even though this seems like a nice cream, it’s a bit higher than I’d pay. Especially for a brand I’ve never heard of. A little goes a long way and there is minimal smell. It has a gel moisturizer texture and goes on smooth. If you have a large area you want to use this cream, just be aware of the size.
