First, shipping of the DNA sample appeared to be a very difficult process ( had to do it 3 times because the envelope kept coming back, I was told by the post office that because return address address and recipient address are not in standard place on the envelope the reading machine was making a mistake).Second, reading through my results I felt like I was reading an article from a magazine or hearing a news segment. It was a very generic information that is an information we all hear now in the mass media like do balanced diet, minimize processed foods, eliminate sugar. However in their recipes they suggest low fat yogurts ( where fat removal is substituted by sugar or sugar subsidies) or low sugar jams. Which are processed foods.It all did not make any sense.Thirdly: I also completed Everlywell.com blood test and nether of the tests had any common components in their results. ????However Everlywell suggested to be aware of eggs as I have high sensitivity to both yolk and whites( other things as well). After minimizing eggs my diet, I felt considerable difference. I felt that the blood test helped me more, while DNA test actually was using eggs in all their suggested recipes.Overall I felt that this DNA test was NOT a value added to my nutritional education, specific to me. I honestly felt that I wasted my $$$.

Not worth the money

This was one of the WORST purchases I have ever made! I thought this would tell me more SPECIFICALLY about foods that I should and should not eat. Instead it basically told me to stay away from junk food and eat fruits and vegetables. It was the things we all know already.Very generic and my report seems like it would almost apply to anyone.

After three months of back and forth, my kit was retrieved. During that time, the CEO of the company ensured that I was kept apprised of the progress of the kit. I think the team did the best they could in providing quality cuatomer service given the long delay. I received my results and I am happy that the test elucidated some of my questions.

Do not waste your money. All you get is a pdf file with a diet you can down load for free!!

Received the swab kit and sent off for analysis. Took more time than expected to obtain results - but result doesn't change - DNA is the same! Was kept informed at every stage of the process. The report issued via email had good summary of the results, an summary explanation of the overall tests. It is followed by individual commentary and explanation of each analysis result in a very friendly readable format.I personal found it interesting and confronting - confirming a lot of theories I've had about myself and discovering some interesting information too!I've now progressed to also do the fitness and wellness analysis finding them all of use.I was keenly interested in what sort of exercise, general day to day activities and nutritional activities that would improve my lifestyle.It's my first DNA test and have a taste now for understanding and finding our even more!!
