Low pressure, started leaking after 5 months
I bought this 2HP 2-speed pump to replace a single speed 1.5HP pump. After hooking it up and turning it on I saw that the pressure at the filter (on high speed) was only 30PSI, compared to 50PSI from the 1.5HP pump. Which means that the pressure of the water coming out of the pop-up cleaners is much lower and does not clean as well. As it was very inexpensive I decided to live with it. However after 5 months the unit developed a massive leak with water pouring out from between the motor and the pump housing. Tried tightening up the flange bolts but made no difference. No support, no warranty, junk!
