Genuine JoeGJO60466 Splash Shield Mop Bucket/Wringer 26 QT

Well, we have a large amount of wood floors to wax. Just got tired of mama's toy mops that just don't cut it. As my papa always said "buy the best and buy it once." Granted we wax our floors monthly and buff weekly a little over 2300 square feet of hardwood flooring. Mopping with anything less than a real mop is ridiculous. So we bought this mop bucket combo along with the matching 24 oz Joe wetmop. Needless to say they really make mopping a pleasure. The mop is fabulous just like the one mama used to have. Slightly heavy but very efficient and does a great job. The mop bucket combo isn't a rubbermaid which I normally would have bought. But at half the price and with some very favorable reviews it sounded like a great deal. Some of the negative reviews should really hire outside help as this bucket unit is really great and can't do it by itself. The wheels are large enough to move smoothly and in any direction with the slightest touch. The squeezer works like a dream. The volume of the bucket is just right for any and all jobs in our home. The handle is sturdy enough to comfortably lift and handle a 3/4 full bucket load without splashing and allows you to easily pour the used water contents out. To date my honey has seen the new mop and bucket additions and hasn't said a word, even whilst she sees me using them. The reason being, I mop and I wax. She's very happy with that. Considering I do the cooking also she is really one happy honey. I have been complaining for so long now about her miniscule wring a ding dings that weigh about 6 ounces and virtually float on air and clean nothing. She sees that we are very happy with a real mop and a real bucket. I still love Rubbermaid. But we have to admit for the money this unit is a fabulous buy. Simple and easy to use for normal people who can swing a mop. It's sturdily built to handle the pressure of squaeezing without bending or breaking anything. I would recommend this unit to anyone. Considering I am a, buy the best tools kinda a guy, I recognize and appreciate quality. This unit may be inexpensive but it most certainly is a quality product.

I love this thing. Why? because its awesome, that's why. So I have almost all tile floors in my house, I can go back to enjoying them again. I no longer have to turn cleaning the floors into a 2 hour experience.OK these are not cheap, I spent a large amount of money on this, the mop and mop head. however this bucket will literally last for years, the one I had in the store was like 15 years old and not showing any signs of needing to be replaced. The mop handle was pretty expensive. and the mop head was too. I chose to get the microfiber one. However the handles last a long time, as well as the mop heads you buy. You can was them on gentle cycle or do like I did at the store, pour in some bleach water and let it soak. depending on the way your floors are you could get the mop head to last a year easily.So why am I telling you about the handles and mop heads in a review about a bucket? because you're going to be buying those if you get this. Getting this is a good idea if you've been thinking about it, go for it. because it saves a lot of time. Nothing works as good as a old fashion commercial mop. that's why you see the new products come and go. there are other buckets out there, but I took a chance with this one, knowing I could return it to amazon. I don't have to return it, because it works and is not flimsy or cheaply made.The one con I had with it was I needed a screwdriver to put the wringer handle on. That is not a big deal but maybe some people don't have one. it comes with a little wrench and you have to hold the bolt with a Philips head while turning the nut to tighten it. after that its basically pop the wheels in and get to mopping.The entire reason that I saw this is better than most products out there is, it makes wringing the mop head super easy. there is enough room so you don't splash water everywhere. The main reason these are better is the mop heads, to make it more easy to clean you either have to press hard, or have a heavy mop head. so when you get a microfiber mop head and its soaked in water, rung out, it weighs a few pounds wet. that's what makes it super easy to just slid it with no effort over some dirt spots and the mess is gone.cleanup is easy as well, I dump mine down the toilet rinse it out in the tub and roll it out to dry.So as long as you wring the mop and rinse the bucket out, letting both dry, it will last a super long time and not smell.

Easy to put together, wringer comes off so it's easy to get rid of dirty water. Wheels roll smoothly.

So far so good. Arrived rather quickly - well packed and in tact. Extremely easy to assemble. Wheels take a little bit of pounding in. Haven't used it yet but expect it to be good. 4 stars until I actually use it.
