Oestrodetox is a supplement which combines Calcium D Glucurate with DIM or Diindolylmethane. Why? The answer to optimizing metabolism of oestrogen lies within the nutrients diindolylmethane (DIM) and Calcium D-Glucarate. Calcium-D-Glucarate can be found in the skin of certain berries, like blueberries for instance. Calcium-D-Glucarate in a nutshell is a fibre that binds into oestrogen molecules and then "flushes" those molecules out of your body through the intestines. Lowered oestrogen levels that follow the use of Calcium-D-Glucarate could lead to a boost in testosterone. Calcium D-Glucarate includes a compound that is a very important key in detoxification. In the liver, glucuronic acid binds toxins (including excess oestrogens), neutralizing them so they can be transported by bile through the digestive system. CDG enhances detoxification by stopping an enzyme called beta-glucuronidase (a Phase II reaction) from breaking the bonds of glucuronic acid. CDG's actions ensure toxins remain bound for excretion from the body. DIM or Diindolylmethane is a breakdown product of indole 3-carbinol (I3C) which occurs naturally in cruciferous vegetables. DIM has been shown to have some benefits for our testosterone levels by effectively removing oestrogen from our liver, by the action called "oestrogen metabolism". DIM improves hormonal balance by shifting the way that oestrogen is metabolized in the body. DIM can result in increased amounts of oestrogen being broken down into the "good" metabolites along with a simultaneous reduction in the "bad" oestrogen metabolites. DIM is like the traffic police, rerouting traffic to a safer pathway, it neither increases nor decreases oestrogen- it merely directs how it is metabolized.

Highly recommended for oestrogen dominance
I didn't realise how much my body needed this product. I had a mild headache for a few days and urine colour change. All normal according to the research. Highly recommended
