Sent them back after putting them on once.
For $40 I was expecting a lot higher quality. I wasn't expecting a pair of Rainbows, but these are a $5 pair of flip flops with a grounding plug stuck in the center. The material the sole is made of is not very stiff, so it will compress under your weight, but the grounding plug is extremely stiff and doesn't compress at all. When you put weight down, the plug jabs into the bottom of your foot. Its like stepping on a rock. The plastic/rubber strap has a lot of sharp mold flashing on it that digs into the skin between your toes.Great idea, horrible execution.

How do you know if they work?
They seemed a little small at first, but I guess the size fits ok. The piece that goes between the toes hurt a bit, not as soft as I would have liked, the conductive plug is more dense than the flip flot bottom material, thus when you step on it, it does not compress like the other material. Each step hurts the bottom of my foot, not sure if I will get used to it. I have been wearing them for a week now. I am not sure if they are doing the job, ie grounding me. I don't know if I should feel different at some point, and what that difference should be... I wanted to experiment with them, although they were pricey for what you get., not sure what the metal piece on the strap is for, I didn't get any literature with them to tell me what to expect and how they work.

Good concept poor execution
I like the idea of grounding sandals, however, the sandals themselves are some of the cheapest on the market. I'm talking the cheapest $1.99 flip flops you can find in a convenience store, you know, the kind that have the straps going through the bottom of the footbed that always pull out. cheap. It makes me wonder wether they even work for grounding. I returned mine as soon as I saw them.

Not exactly as expected
I wanted to wait a couple months before reviewing. I know about grounding and use the Earthing products regularly, and believe it is a good thing. The sandals fit a little tighter than expected and the comfort is ok. I compare them to $10 walmart gereric flip flops. The winning ticket is that if you stand on grass a lot you will get the grounding effects. What I'm realizing now is that I never use these on the actual earth's ground, so they are kind of useless to me. If I'm on the grass/beach I just go barefoot anyhow... I guess its a personal thing with these.

Ordered a half size larger than normal, still way too small, and so narrow, it would hurt a lot to try to wear
A total waste of money. Order a large size, and you will need a narrow foot, and they may be okay. Best to buy in a store where you can try them on first.

It works but it's not very comfortable.
I wear size 9.5 men shoes. I purchase a size 10 and it was a tight fit. It's not very comfortable but meetsmy immediate needs when i'm around the home yard. I paid the extra cost to get a sandal with better colors.The vendor shipped fast. The sandals are only okay (3 and half stars) but it's the best available, at this time 5/2013.

Not Good!
I sent these flip flops back. Bought them for my husband and they fir weird, had a weird gadget in the middle of sole that he could feel & made the fit very uncomfortable to him.
