But I love clicking through the different modes and dimmer settings. We have settled on a 12 hr cycle where it auto turns on and off. We decided to plant seeds early this year, and went whole hog with heating mats, deep sturdy trays, etc. I bought another kind of light since I had no experience in this area and I prefer these I’m reviewing. I love the shades of color from white-white, to a natural yellow-white to a violet color. All modes can dim. There’s the timer i mentioned and manual on/off. Our seedlings are in a dark garage and they lean to the light. The plants are green so that’s good.
