Firstly, I was satisfied with the delivery as it came exactly when it was scheduled with damages whatsoever, it was packaged in a cardboard box and the panel itself was wrapped in bubble wrap for extra protection.All the specs of the solar panel were labelled on the back as shown on the picture which is always useful. When it came to opening the black box on the back, I did have minor difficulty when I tried opening it as there where no instructions however the case was embossed with arrows and a picture of a screwdriver which gave me a vague idea of what to do. I learnt that in order to open the box, all you need to do is push down on the clips with a flatbread screwdriver and then simply pry them open and the lid pops off just fine.Upon inspecting the black box, I noticed that the rim of the lid was lined with a rubber band to provide a waterproof seal and the 2 feeds for the positive and negative wires to enter the box had grommet connectors so that the openings would also be waterproof once they were tightened around the wires.The positive and negative terminals themselves had a large diode connected between them in reverse polarity according to the terminals (shown on the photo) which I am assuming is for reverse polarity protection which will prevent the solar panel from being damaged if it were to be wired to its load incorrectly. This is a nice additional protection feature. Just by looking at them, you can see that the intended way to connect the power lines to the terminals is to crimp the ends of the terminals around the stripped ends of the power lines to terminate them.The panel itself has a very nice aesthetic and is very attractive, and with the glass cover over the PV cells, it should be able to withstand harsh weather conditions such as hail easily. Futhermore, around the rim at the back of the PV cells, there is a silicon seal to ensure that the entire thing is fully waterproof according the IP65 rating which can be found on the lid of the black box.I was slightly disappointed that the product did not come with associated power cables to connect to the terminals nor instructions however these additional item were not listed in the product description so that is why I am giving the solar panel 5 stars.I would highly recommend this solar panel if you want to power low-power electronic devices as it performs quite well for this purpose and is extremely good value for money.
