People are lame! Squatting
My Globo Gym chain opened up a new closer location in town. I was impressed when I saw that they procured 20 pairs of Lock-Jaw Pro 2 collars and looked forward to using them for many years to come... Fast forward 30 days later and the local Riversidians have stolen all but 1 1/2 of the pairs. People are lame!Squatting, deadlifting, snatches, cleans and other lifts are heavily incorporated into my routines so I decided I would have to purchase my own pair of collars to carry in my gym bag. The aluminum OSOs are highly reviewed and recommended on the net but are out of my price range. Just below the OSO price point are the same Lock-Jaws Pros I used. They perform amazing as well but only list a one-year warranty.I opted for these polymer OSO collars as they were at an even lower price point and are backed by OSO's 2 year warranty. Win-win-and WIN! I've used the collars for a full week's worth of work outs and I'm impressed by the performance! The bumper plates have not moved a single millimeter on any set or rep to date! Warning: trying to close these OSOs for the first time is a bit of a scary experience. They will feel INCREDIBLY tight. You will find yourself wondering if you ordered the wrong size or if they are a manufacturer's defect- but they are not. After one or two closings, the rubbers will be completely set in, and feel great. They are bit harder to close than Lock-Jaws since the lever is thinner in comparison.I love the looks, the performance, the warranty and the price.
