greeting to thee, thy hope to help those whom be reading thine review(present english)Being a fan of anti-heroes my collection wouldn't be complete without Spawn the King of all anti-heroism.don't be confused by the title, its not an animated sequel to the 1997 film. It season two of the animated series.the style is reminicent of a comic book. Its gritty, dark and perfect to the series that is Spawn. However it does lack special features and it can get a little annoying when at least half of the episodes centure around the trials and tribulations of Spawn's Al simmons' best friend and his wife and daughter. But you do sympathise with spawns current situation because of it. Just the the title of the dvd called spawn not "terry"Spawn fans i recommend this dvd/entire series.LUGIA FLYHIGHT

Well what can i say... its spawn... hes bad...hes dead... and boy is he pissed, keep out of the alleys or he may give you and your scumbag friends a hiding you will never forget no matter how much you spend on counsiling. Whatever you do dont buy these seperatley because you will want to see part 2 straight after you finished with part 1. This is what manga is all about the darkness of it that sends a chill right to your bones, the blood the guts and the gore...its the best thing since the discovery of television or something just watch and be drawn into the dark world of manga and dont look back. enjoy.

For anyone who isn't aware,this is not a box set of the second season,this is the second season edited down to an animated movie with less gorey violence,if you're looking to show it to someone younger or someone who's just not familiar with the character,I'd recommend this,otherwise hold off on it

If you need a change of the usual superhero faff such as Superman and Batman then you should try Spawn. Why?Because Sapwn has it all, a great story, violence, mystery and a big bad guy who wants to make you puke.From the top then...Al Simmons was a government assaisan until somebody killed him. However, he made a deal with the devil in which if he could say good-bye to his wife, then he could lead an army of demons into heaven and slaughter the good guys.Al is brought back as Spawn, a Demonspawn with the ability to shoot chains from his body and do other cool things.Spawn is not for the younger generation and is souly for teens/adults. There are people getting thrown through windows and getting dropped from heights in this DVD.The story is brilliant. There is alot of suspence and the ending is oh-so brilliant as it begs you for more. The voice acting is over the top. And the animations are crisp and smooth. Just what you would expect from Todd Mcfarlane.So if you want a change from the boy scout hero then try out Spawn. Watch it, love it, then watch it again.

Let me tell you, about a wonderful little comic, named Spawn, spawn smashed the pre-set clechie of what a super-hero is ment to be, Betrayed by his ex-bos Jayson Wynn, Al Simmons is burned to death by fellow CIA agent Preist, he returns to Earth as a Hellspawn, he discovers that he made a deal with the devil Malbolgia, that if he would lead the army of Hell to march against Heaven in Armagedon, He could see his Wife Wanda again, however he was never told that he would be dead, five years in the future, or that his best friend Terry Fitzgerald would be her new husband. This show is AMAZING!!!!!! Spawn's torment is a great undertone of this show, and the fact that he sold his soul just for his wife, would apease any of the old goth-romantics out there. There are some GREAT deaths in this show, also, the twists in the plot are great, BUY THIS, NOW, you'll never regret it, EVER!!!!!!!!

DONT BOTHER GETTIN THIS, I WATCHED SOME EPISODES N DECIDED TO GET THE BOX SET, N YOU NO WHAT, THEY'VE CUT SOOOOO MUCH SH...STUFF OUT, ALOT!!!! OF STUFF IS MISSING, NO WONDER ITS RATED 12, IF YOU BUY THEM IN SEPERATE VOLUMES IT SHOULD BE FULL SINCE THEY'RE RATED 18, BUT DEFNITLY DONT GET THIS, YOU'LL REGRET IT.PEACEMCL
