Micro Clover Seed UK - Small Leaf White Clover Seed for Sowing, Soil Improver and Ground Cover Crop (Trifolium Repens Pipolina)

Bought this a few months ago but wanted to see how it went before I reviewed. Had a bit of clover growing in my garden and when I looked into it foundcout a clover lawn is highly recommended, it suppresses many weeds and mosses, low growing so less mowing, great for pollinators. This white clover seemed to be the best to get for height and flowering. So arrived well pakaged, delivered quickly. I was going to dig over my small front garden but to be honest at the time was not feeling too well so took the easier option of raking over, scattering seed and just pushing down with my feet, didn't really have high expectations but despite weather not being great, it was back end of Feb in manchester! I looked after about 2 weeks could see little spirits, encouraged I put a bit more in places I had missed. I then turned to the back garden, I had removed by hand many dandelions and a whole bed of buttercups that was taking over my lawn! Did the same as front garden but did not think about the pigeons! Yep they ate a load but then I put it down after they had gone to bed, I could have also put a small layer of top soil, that would have been my next step! Anyway this time it grew. It is now June my lawns are looking good, mostly clover but will need another bag to fill gaps, but what I love the most, bees coming in yep great but walking the clover is the softest thing ever!! I don't want a bowling green lawn it's got to be played on, run on, get soaked from a paddling pool and still bounce back, so far it is doing all that and more! I think this seed is magnificent, if you care about the environment or you just get sick of constantly having to mow your grass look into a clover lawn, buy this seed it's better than Jack and the beanstalks magic beans!! Easy to use, rake, shake and walk over, lovely white clover flowers and as I keep saying makes life easy. Think you can guess I highly, highly recommend.

I sowed these seeds on Saturday and by Tuesday (3 days later), they were already sprouting really well (see photo). After spreading the seeds, I added a light layer of soil on top and kept the area moist. That extra bit of soil definitely helped with even coverage and protection. The germination is surprisingly fast and consistent so far, even in patchy lawn areas. Early results look very promising — thick, healthy growth starting to come through. Will update if needed, but happy with the product so far!

Good ground coverage....not micro. I bought this as mowing a small patch of grass in the front was becoming difficult. I removed all the turf and weeds .covered the area with cardboard for a few weeks, raked over the soil then applied the micro clover. The shoots appeared really quickly and it was established within 4 weeks. It is a very lush green colour. It does look a little bit like cress! However 3 months on....there is.notjinh micro about this clover. It might actually be the tallest.clover I have ever seen. I will probably have to mow it :( I've not had any flowers, so no bees. But it has stayed lovely and green without any watering and we have had a hot, dry summer. I've not had any weeds creeping through either which is great.

Excellent germination rate, the clover is looking thick and lush - in miniature form. Sowed the seed early September when it was forecast a week of rain, looked a week later and there it was. Good value for money, good pack size and the small seeds are easy to sow. Sturdiness unknown as it hasn't had a hard winter on it yet.

Grows well and lovely colour leaves. Not all places grew but that is more down to me than the product

I just cut my grass and then threw the seeds down and they started growing. Honestly it was that simple. Grass has been a pain for a few years and grass just won't grow in bits, I tried different seeds, aerating the ground, scarifying, different plant foods and such and the grass just doesn't want to grow well and looks terrible and patchy. I just drop the clover seeds down and they have grown, that's all, I love this stuff and have bought more.
