Did the job!
Works good. The only thing that could use improvement is the water system so keep an eye on your level. When you get to lockdown and have to increase humidity, the water has a tendency to gravitate out of the tube. I just made sure it was full and put it higher than the incubator and it worked fine.

Did not work
I read the bad reviews and bought anyway. First time hatching so I thought it wouldn't be a big deal. Turner only worked once when plugging in. So I had to unplug and plug several times a day. Humidity went drastically up and down constantly which was a nightmare. There's a great one at Tractor Supply for sane price. Do not buy this defective item. Did not make it to Kohls in time to return within window. No way to contact seller st thus point as far as I can tell.

Great starter incubator
Bought this to incubate small batches of quail eggs. My mom recommended the nurture right 360 but I didn't have the money for that one and this one went on sale. I used it for dry hatching and it worked great, did 2 batches last summer. Because of the AC I used the foam cover so the temp stayed consistent, tried it first without and it fluctuated too much. Only got about a 50% hatch rate, not sure if it was the incubator or me that I didn't get much higher. Others in my quail group that had this one said they die fast, they could be doing a humid run, not sure.

The chicks are growing!
Bought this incubator for a little side money since I have some experience with chickens and ducks. I've had the product for over two weeks now and so far 11/12 eggs have made it which is typical to lose one. The incubator seems to stay at the right temperature as to what you need. The incubator needs about a cup of water every two days. I can't wait to see my baby chicks. I will post pictures when they hatch. :)

Worked well but injured some of my chicks legs in the rotation cycle.
This was my first incubator and incubation experience. I have been doing chickens for 1.5 years and have let my hens go broody and nest and gotten babies the original natural way with success but I lost my favorite rooster and in a hope to carry on his line I grabbed this little incubator to try to hatch some eggs and it did it! It was relatively simple and easy to maintain. The only reason I gave it a lower rating is that there is no way to turn the rotating device off so my brand new babies little tiny legs would get stuck in the holes and when the rotation happened their legs or feet got mangled. It happened to 2-3 of our chicks in varying degrees. A friend after the fact told me to the best way to avoid that next time is to take out the tray that rotates once they start hatching because they really need to stay in that warm environment until their feathers dry. its good for them to rest in there and dry off and recover a bit before you transfer them. But all in all....I put in 12 eggs and 8 of the 12 hatched successful and the ones with leg issues we managed to splint and save but warning on the rotating mechanism...you need that rotation but it should stop at day 21 and it doesn't which makes it dangerous for newborn chicks...also....the directions are minimal....when you take a chick out you can potentially impact other chicks working there way out so have a paper towel you got wet with hot water and quickly pull the chicken out and leave the hot wet paper towel in to help restore the humidity in the incubator. Otherwise the membrane of a an egg the chick is working hard to break out of can get too dry and rubber and the chick won't be able to break free. They say any of these things in the directions. Happy I got 8 babies out it! Will try it again but will keep the rotation tray out at day 20 or 21. Happy Hatching! :)

IT WORKS!!!
The media could not be loaded. All seven ducklings hatched on day 28. Born on the 4th of July! Everything worked as expected. This was my first time hatching quite happy with the turnout. I had a previous Styrofoam one without a automatic egg turner never worked out for me. I would definitely recommend. Happy ducklings I'd say🦆

Worked somewhat, but you mught want to try something else.
I bought this incubator to hatch some quail eggs. It did not measure the humidity so i had to purchase a thermometer+hygrometer to go in the incubator. At first everything was fine with the automatic turner and humidity. The temperature was off by 2 to 2.5 degrees. Our quails started to develop just fine in the beginning, but towards the middle and end of the incubation period, everything was off. The automatic turner would not go off at times and the humidity would not stay consistent. I had to keep dumping the water out open up the incubator to bring the humidity down from 90%. Unfortunately my quails were effected. Out of 7 fertilized eggs, only one hatched, but it died a little time later; much to my childrens dismay. I gave it 2 stars because technically it did cause the eggs to develop and grow, but then it did kill them.
